  1. I never feel overly confident heading into any game. It's the CFL. But at this rate I feel like Bombers and Riders SHOULD be undefeated the rest of the way. Would love a Rider loss to all but seal first place though.

Lucky seems like an awesome dude. I don't think he deserved to have his wrist broken. That just comes with the territory of being in Brandon Alexander's... territory. Hope it's not as bad as it seems and he can come back and continue his stellar season. And then maybe if he doesn't want to get hit by BA anymore he can join us for next year.
  3. Mourtada's mechanics look great imo. It is more of a confidence thing and getting used to the live action and pressure. I hope those easier kicks will build that base confidence for when he has to kick the longer ones.

From week to week you see this Bomber team make it look relatively easy even when the score is close. The teams in the league know they have to play their absolute best to have a shot. They know they have to fight us in the trenches on both sides of the ball and have a run game to keep us honest. This is finally that game where the opposing team didn't bring any semblance of a run game and looked like a peewee team against our lines. That is a recipe for disaster against this tough Bomber team.

Canadian? 🤦‍♂️ Canadian? 🤦‍♂️ Edit: double post hard to fix on my phone. **** it
  6. Doesn't matter. That was utter destruction. Wouldn't say he had the best game out of all of the Bombers who had awesome games. But something should be said of what we get out of Alexander at the safety position. Set the tone for this game and put the Lions in their place early.
  7. I see an Edmonton D that has been nowhere near the receivers at times tonight. His arm Imo doesnt look pro level. But I could be wrong.
  8. Everyone but Dunigan ready to anoint him the next great QB. I'm on the side of Dunigan. He had some really nice plays called for him early on and he executed. But I don't see a QB that has the tools to be great in this league. Just my opinion.
  9. Unless someone is put on the 6 game I'm not really worried about any of these guys. Vet days for all.
  10. Recouping our depth. Unless things go off the rails injury wise we should be in great shape come playoffs
  11. Ottawa needs an expansion draft
  12. I liked how Suitor was breaking down the Alford pick-6 saying that young QBs have trouble with locking on the receiver and understanding the timing necessary to make that throw. What he forgot to mention was that Alford is only 23 (3 years younger than Cornelius)
  13. Won handily not playing our best on the road. I'll certainly take it.
  14. I pointed out that mourtada didn't seem comfortable from the right hash. Honestly think he would have been good kicking from the left. But that's not really an excuse
  15. When the ball was snapped there were two players that were offside
  16. Prediction is 4-3 by the half
  17. Yet everyone had them last in the power rankings😅 Then they had some injuries on defense and a bad team got much worse (no depth)
  18. Trap game for sure. Anyone can beat anyone. Except Ottawa
  19. Demski is so crucial to our offense. I'm giving him the nod on offense. But of course there were contributions from the entire team. On defense I have a hard time singling anybody out. What a unit
  20. AFAIK you don't get a penalty for contacting the kicker before he kicks it. He kicked it, and then was contacted. But the point is that he kicked it before the penalty occurred. So it makes sense to flag him for kicking it out of bounds imo
  21. Wtf was I on today. He didn't play in the Grey Cup. I guess I forget that Hamilton was playing in that game.
  22. Juiced up in the Grey Cup too? Oof
  23. If you stand in the same spot it makes it really easy for the coverage team to know where to run to It's like if you're playing street hockey and you try to deke through everyone
  24. I understand both sides when it comes to our kicking game. We have very high aspirations for this team and right now our special teams is the only part of our game that I'm concerned with. Returns, field goals, even seems like we allow more yards against in coverage than we used to. If we have to win a playoff game on a kick I'm not so confident right now. That could change but it's honestly one of my biggest concerns atm.
  25. I think E Rose was injured last game. It might be natural to just throw him in as you say
