I'm excited for Wheatfall. Seems like he has upped his game to be a bit more dynamic.

Our QBs are set. Streveler is taking the lions share of the reps because he will be starting first game. Collaros takes reps because he isn't playing for weeks after. Wouldn't be surprised if Arto and Wilson get very limited reps or none at all. Like others have said, for some guys we know exactly what they bring and are being left home. Especially the guys on D. They don't need to get into a rhythm. Everyone else is getting more of a chance to put things on film

Agree that it would be tough to get Cooley on the roster when Brady is there. He brings a lot of the same stuff as Oliveira. Unless he can return I see him as our PR backup.

Beautiful day at the stadium. Chase A looked cool and calm. Pocket presence that Terry W just doesn't have. Can run the ball effectively. Kind of reminded me of Dru B. Maybe a bit faster but a weaker arm. Have to agree that Jonathan J and Michael A are the guys that popped at the LB position. Ayers looked physically elite on some plays. That's exciting. James V seems like a good pickup. With Devin A looking like he's taken another step, our Defensive L looks to be in a good spot. Cam A obviously looked great out there. Loved what he did after the interception as well. Overall I'm a bit worried about our offense. None of the receivers really popped to me (but tbh I missed almost the entire 1st Q...I don't want to talk about it). Game star....Quinton C. Fast, quick, slippery. Like trying to tackle a greased up hog. That's supposed to be a compliment. We better keep him around.

I was really looking forward to a change of pace guy to pair off with Brady. But I guess it would be tough to have a DA without them playing that returner role.

Would be nice to see someone step up if Logan isn't ready.

And that other corner spot is wide open. We've been very willing to play CFL rookies at that position in the past. He has a good chance.

In O'Sheas presser it sounded like Schoen and Lawson are likely ready to start the season but they are being smart about it by not rushing them into practice

Love Parker. Hopefully he can bounce back nicely from injury. I'd have to imagine they want a vet playing safety to quarterback the secondary. Can't think of a better fit from our roster

Definitely would not have expected LB, LB, QB with ours picks. But personally I like the commitment to ST, getting a couple LBs that could end up starting one day. Elgersma I have no idea.

It sounds more like he doesn't fit an immediate need. Or a perceived need. Thought they said Barker had him at like 5 or something.

Can Jaylen Smith play safety? They mentioned he had experience playing in the secondary.

Seems reasonable. Our rookies (minus a few who just seem to get it out of TC) haven't been effective at all.

Gotta hope (and there are signs of it) that this year will be back to having competition in TC and not just extended practice before the season starts. Wallace, Eli, Randolph should be gunning for those inside spots.

The only player we've lost this offseason that will most assuredly result in a downgrade is Lawler. But we were without Schoen last year so I kind of see it as a push (assuming Schoen can be who we know he can be).

Will they actually use him this year? Given the apparent commitment to our run game, this might work out.

Looking like theres the possibility we are going with more Americans on the field on offense given this signing. I'm also seeing a lot of weapons that can be used in a lot of ways. I don't really see the jump ball big body type of guy. But to be honest I don't really think that's a game Collaros excels in anyways. I can see many of these receivers purely getting open in different parts of the field. Get the ball out of zachs hands quickly and have teams keeping pace with us and having to tackle in space.

After signing Logan I'm fully expecting Lawler to be gone. It really looks like we're going in another direction with our offense. And quite frankly - I'm pretty excited.

Given our defensive schemes last year this sounds like he would fit in quite well. A guy that will steadily collapse the pocket. And like you said, if we can get a Cersena to play at the DT position, that pocket will collapse quickly.

It does seem weird to me. The only thing I can think of is that his injury isn't progressing and that Clercius has taken his spot. Dollars-wise it seems like a fine deal.

Salary wise it's going to be a bigger spend but I think Mitchell is a bit more dynamic. Underrated kick returner IMO. Really like this.

From a certain point in the season and onward he was very solid from my vantage point. I think without him we'd be filling a gigantic hole.
