Rookie starters in secondary....
Honestly I'd take Nichols over Sayles. He's been that good for us. Nichols only mistake last night was being in too good of coverage and stepping on Burnhams foot

3 star plus HH bc beat down WCF road to the grey cup
Big team win. It's difficult to single anybody out. Even our backups got a lot of good work in this one. Our late game defense was Cadwallader, Gauthier, Briggs, both Hallett etc. Not taking anything away from those boys either. It is actually surprising to me that we don't intercept more passes given how often we're in the QBs face. I think that's a testament to Michael Reilly. He may not be at his peak but he still looks superhuman on some plays, dragging guys to avoid sacks. 1. Our line play. Early on in the game Collaros had the time and he knew it. Picked BC apart. The game was over early. And then on the D-Line they were doing their thing. Sure we may give up the occasional 10 yard run and the TSN guys go crazy about it, but that doesn't last. 2. Brandon Alexander timing up blitzes, making hits, putting the fear of God into receivers. Could probably say the exact same thing about Bighill. 3. Collaros. He'll win MOP. Isn't it basically a lock?

3 star plus HH bc beat down WCF road to the grey cup
Remember when people were saying that the BC Lions matched up well against us? About that.. I'm not sure I've seen a season series so thoroughly dominated

2021 Blue Bombers Season
Might be a game time decision if he is listed as backup?

Give McGuire game reps
That was when he got hit from behind right? Not all McGuires fault there

Week 12 Lions @Champs pre game talk
Absolutely no reason we should lose this game. Just need to take care of business

CHAMPS at Elks GDT
We were the overwhelming favourites to win this game. From that standpoint, squeaking out a win doesn't seem great. But we won back-to-back games (which can be difficult for any team), beat them in their own park twice and won all 3 games. From that standpoint, it sounds a lot better. Edmonton may not be great, but they're not a free space and played a great game.

3 stars plus hh Elk sweep
Bailey was the player of the game for me. Oliveira looked amazing though. Sliced through Edmontons defense and gave us what we needed in the second half. Glimpses of the future

2021 Blue Bombers Season
It's all relative. RBs absolutely have without a doubt. They've made a jump since the QB change as well

CHAMPS at Elks GDT
With Tyrell coming off the roster, you have to expect the Bombers will be keeping that starting american (Hardrick) on the offensive side of the ball. So I see McKnight getting some plays tonight.

2021 Blue Bombers Season
To be fair, every team has probably improved. But there was definitely a "jump" we made that happened after the Toronto game.

2021 Blue Bombers Season
We are a better team than we were at the start of the season. Our offense has started to catch up to our defense and our defense has improved (especially getting Richardson back). Alford and Nichols have cemented themselves on De'Boundary and Darby has been invisible at SAM (good thing)

Number of Dis is determined by the roster, not the starters IIRC Edit: I think I see what you're saying. But there's actually 6 Americans listed either as backups or kicker- Elks vs Champs pre game talk
Since we removed 2 Canadians and added 2 Americans I'm assuming we have to sit an American. That and the fact that our roster has 5 Di's.- Mourtada
Unless Hajrulahu or Medlock becomes available I really don't see the Bombers signing any more kickers. They will see if Mourtada can get out of this rut and if not Crapinga may come back to do the job- Week 10 - Non-Champ Edition
Honestly it might be impossible to tell unless you are the refs under the goalposts. I'd like to know what the rules are when the ball is kicked higher than the uprights, which Bede does quite often. If the ball is in line with the goalposts does it count? Is there some discretion?- Mourtada
Excellent. I'm only 35- Week 10 - Non-Champ Edition
That's why I put the all-star part in brackets. I don't think schiltz is the answer for them but I kind of figured he could be what they needed to win that game given what Adams had done up to that point.- Week 10 - Non-Champ Edition
Alouettes always put way too high. They are a pretender and could be without their "perrenial all star" big play VA- 3 stars + HH Defense goes elk hunting
How about Alford going one on one with Derel Walker? That kid is something special.- 2021 (??) CFL Season
If you are replacing Picton then you'll have to start a Canadian elsewhere. Edit: Nevermind it looks like Riders start more than the required amount.- Week 9 GDT - second place is the first loser games.
I didn't say easy. I am just not jumping on the Calgary bandwagon just because of one win at home. And if BC is missing Whitehead for any significant time they are a very average team. Sask will still get Evans back. So as long as they don't implode I still think they are the best of the rest. 🤷♂️ It's not really a discussion of who matches up best against us (it admittedly is probably Calgary), just about who I think we'll be playing in the West Final.- Week 9 GDT - second place is the first loser games.
Sask may not be the best of the rest. But in every game they fight and fight. That will likely get them to IG field for the West Final.- Week 9 GDT - second place is the first loser games.
Have to feel good now if you're a Bomber fan. Up 3 wins in the division with 6 games to go. - Elks vs Champs pre game talk
