Big game hunter.  Always has to a hot hand vs the Elks.

Hamilton vs. Edmonton in a couple weeks might be the best toilet bowl game in awhile in the CFL. Both teams can make plays but have zero defense.

And why didnt Edmonton let the clock run down on 3rd down? They could have avoided Ottawa getting the ball back.

Yeah the whole sequence there should have brought them down to 0 by 3rd down.  Really poor game management all around.

Also should have had Bede HAMMER the kickoff and force Ottawa to make a play to avoid the game winning rouge.

So, I know where you're going with this. Then we get into the same problem we have now. We overpaid for Brady. Overpaid for Zach. We overpaid for Schoen. Overpaid for Lawler. Overpaid for Bighill. Overpaid for BA. Sure, those contracts will be off the books by the end of 2025 but... to sign Brown we'll have to outbid Ottawa & every other CFL team. Would we do that? If we did, then we have one more player who is now overpaid & chances are will also have 3 or 4 more that will need new contracts as well. Now, we're up against the cap again like we are now. We'll have to let some promising players go.

Unfortunately his coach (Jones) threw Bede under the bus by making a point of blaming that decision completely on him. Not a great way to get people to work for you and give a little extra, probably one of the main reasons Elks tend to lose so many close games.

Maybe that's the plan.  Jones is looking to buy a team cheap and driving the Elks into oblivion is one way.

Historically he's been a little erratic but last year he was money. Like 95% on field goals and his punting was outstanding.

Bede is such a good kicker, Edmonton musta messed up his head. Insane finish to the game. 

If Jones gets canned there could be a fire sale in Edmonton. I’d trade for Achempong or Noah Curtis for sure.
