Yes they did. They just didn’t want to. I mean really. It’s pretty obvious at this point they decided to move on.

We don't know one way or another, but what we do know is that Grant was not considered a priority. Would we have liked to have him back? Who knows. There were rumblings long before Walters was blowing the cash to re-sign guys that Grant was going to have to wait to see if there was money left for him though.

No evidence he ever lost it

His injury last season was a bit of a mystery, looked like high ankle sprain or hairline foot/ankle fracture. (BTW it was a dumb play call by Buck that got Grant nicked - a hand-off up the gut into high traffic on 2nd and long). IMHO Grant did not appear as lethal after returning from that injury. Took him a long time to rehab and might have had a setback after trying to come back early. No one tougher. Janarion has great vision but if you can't plant your foot to make the cut you're just not as elusive. Of course our team blocking on return teams was **** last year too ... Honestly, Argos taking a bit of a flyer unless they worked him out prior. If he is 100% healthy with nothing lingering, he is electric.

Depending on his cost, potentially a low risk/high reward signing.

I'm not sure I've ever been more afraid of a kick returner in the CFL.

Didn't he return a punt for a TD in the west final? I agree it took a bit for him to get up to game speed after he returned. But by playoffs I thought he was fine.

He did not have a return TD after coming back from injury in 2023. You may be thinking of 2022 when he returned a punt for a TD vs Argos in the Grey Cup Game. So painful we lost that game.

Do they have any pics without a green lighting shining on it?  It looks like just plain black uniforms with a small amount of green trim?

They said they took inspiration for colours from the province so I assume the black represents the pit of despair that is Saskatchewan.

It's how most of the remaining intact teeth in the province look.

Intact teeth....if by black broken off nubs you mean intact teeth....then yea for sure.

Rider jerseys are rubber boots black, Those are the wedding rubber boots...green ones are every day wear.

I Rorketon Saskatchewan, as I type this, there is a Rider fan in the outhouse looking up what obsidian is, and then smacking his head saying "why didn't they just say rubber boot black"

Grant had a punt return for a TD against BC in the 2022 WF correct?  I can't tell because the CFL stats are so shitty, they don't mention the Grant TD, just that he had a punt return for 92 yards, which I assume was for a TD.  He also had a big whiff in that game where the ball went between his legs on a kickoff, giving BC the ball on the 3 yard line.
