The only thing I want to comment on right now is the location of the Canada/Russia game tonight... I absolutely can't wrap my head around why they would play a Canada/Russia game in Pittsburgh... other than it being a neutral site, which also doesn't make any sense b/c the whole tournament is being played in Toronto anyways.... literally any other city in Canada would have been a better choice... guarantee MTS centre would be sold out for this game... Not that his game means much... just seems like a huge money making opportunity missed... any Canadian city would sell 15-20K seats... will Pittsburgh sell 10k for this game?

I'd probably argue they have some decent receivers right now... Holly and Collins could be good in the future... Roosevelt and Bagg (when healthy) are pretty solid now... they also have no QB depth... after Durant their QBs probably aren't roster players on most other teams...

the only part of the story I have trouble with is the beer be intentionally dumped on the head of a 9 year old... maybe I have too much faith in humanity... and I think the entire story is terrible and wish none of it had happened... I feel for that family that they had to go through any form of verbal abuse... it is completely unacceptable... I've had season tickets for 13 years so I've obviously seen some $h!t go down... but I can't even imagine a situation escalating between 2 adults where beer is dumped on someone... let alone with a child involved...

I disagree... if you watch the replay again you'll see he stretches out and falls down... it's not a full out dive... it was a ball that should have been caught... as for the Dressler one, you're right, that would have been an extremely difficult catch... but you can't necessarily blame Nichols... Nichols was thinking inside and Dressler was thinking outside... one of them screwed up... we don't know which one...

it's kind of odd for you to just assume it's one of the die hard fans who would do something so deplorable... in my experience (winnipeg and regina) it's the diehard fans that are the most respectful... it's the fringe fans that just go to one game (usually the banjo bowl) to get drunk and yell at opposing fans... again, very strange conclusion for you to jump to...

Pretty good list... I think in the official bearpants rankings, I wouls switch Durant and Burris... probably knock Masoli down below Willy and Glenn... That's not much of a compliment... I think I'm probably a smarter QB than Micheal Bishop!

wow... I'm almost tempted to say this trade seems too good to be true... I don't think Glenn is a huge downgrade from Willy... and then we get a first, upgrade a 4th to a 3rd, and get a high quality DB... have to wonder where Heath fits in to an already stacked secondary...

I remember all the bending over backwards the Riders were doing to explain why they only had a half full house the opening game of 2014.... same situation... garbage weather and delays... except the rider game was a weekend afternoon... with the team coming off a grey cup championship.... not Wednesday night... with a 2-4 team with almost no winning in the past 5 years...

Well... we did go to the Grey Cup that year... so I'm not sure "Kaboom" applies to this situation...

I think his salary is 170-ish... The way I looked at it is 100k for the best kicker in the league and 70k for an above-average punter... always seemed like a good deal to me...

I've lived in Winnipeg my whole life and now that I work for a local company I don't imagine moving by time soon... I've always thought if I lived in another CFL city, I would probably buy season tickets to that team (yes, even regina)... not that I would necessarily cheer for said team... more just to enjoy a CFL game and cheer for the Bombers when they were in town...

The Washington fellow looked like a hot knife through butter against that Edm D... still waiting for Harris to run one like that this year...

I don't think people are questioning signing him (if that's a possibility)... it's a matter of do we want to pay big NI money for him?... the answer is probably not... I'm not sure what an average NI player makes these days ($100k-ish?) but I think most people would be happy with that... Transcona??
