I have to disagree with you completely on this one... our entire offense is based on 5-10 yard passes... you'd have to think they's have a good play queued up for situations like this... I handicapped it at about 50% to make the first down and about 10% for the FG (just my personal opinion not really based on anything other than what I saw in that game/history/gut feeling)...

we can't ignore the "what if he caught it" factor... this is Manny Arceneaux we're talking about here... if the ball is remotely close to him, there's about a 90% chance he's catching it... So what if Manny had the ball in his hands and Loffler's hit jars it loose preventing a TD... does he still get a penalty?... Does that mean safeties are now in a lose-lose situation where they have to decide give up a TD or risk taking a penalty while knocking the ball loose, with a clean hit no less... it's such a grey area in this case... it's a great hit and would hate to see it taken out of the game... but how do you protect a wr extending for a catch??

I wound't have worded it like this... but I agree and I was calling this a "team loss"... if the O gets a few more first downs in the second half maybe they score 3-7 more points, or at least kill more clock, that probably wins us the game... if the D gets one or two more stops they probably prevent one score, that probably wins us the game... if the ST set up the field position a little better it helps both O and D... and I disagreed with Mike's call at the end of the game... Any way you look at it, to blame one single person or group for this loss is silly... it truly was a team effort... but I think it shows we are just a few pieces away from being great...

I know Mike mentioned this previously... but I wonder if we can find a legit MLB and move Bass back to WIL (where he dominated last year)... I hate to say this (cuz I pretty much love everything about the guy) but we might not have a need for Wild going forward...

Probably true... he took that gong-show, released the 2 best offensive players.... and turned them into a competitive team down the stretch...

Everybody knows Elimimian is the best Defensive player in the league by reputation alone... This should be a west sweep but Banks is the sexy pick so he will win over Medlock... the people who vote on this thing proved last year (Sinopoli over Westerman as top Canadian) the better story/sexier pick will win...

pretty disappointing when a receiver leads directly to 2 interceptions... both on easily catch-able balls...

I feel like we've had this conversation before.... of all the players we've moved on from in the Walters era, Sorensen might be the only big mistake...

Let's call it Stockholm Syndrome... we've been taking hostage by the team losing for so long... yet we've falling in love with the team... now that we start winning it's hard to be too happy b/c we still believe we are hostage to the losing... The irony is funny... 2013 we are absolute hot garbage but pick 2nd in 14 cuz Ottawa joins the league... 2014, pretty terrible again, but not as bad as Ottawa, 2nd pick in 15... 2015, team still sucks, but doesn't suck as much as Sask (I know this one is moot b/c we didn't have a 16 first rounder).... now in 2016 we have a 10-11 win season... and NOW we are likely to get 1st overall next year...

I think it's pretty clear it was more of an exaggeration than a lie... what he likely meant was Sinopoli was open behind the LBs 5 or 6 times... which is essentially "all day" in football speak...

I actually think this team is more like the 2007 team... this year's offense is much better than 2011, despite the most recent showing... Also, although Baressi was the OC, pretty sure LaPo was calling the plays in 2011...

Chris Jones definitely did this with Mike Reilly a few times in 2014... does that count as "within the last two years"
