I completely agree... this "insider statement" does not make any sense... he's basically saying "the Bomber are good but they're only good because they are playing well"... if the statement was the offense is good b/c they're getting help from the D and ST, then sure...

I think it's pretty obvious why other guys are annoyed with him... The OP touched on it and 17to85 really brought it home there... it seems no one has a problem with him doing his thing... when he started calling out credible media personnel... they didn't sit idly by... I have no issue with a little bit of homerism on local broadcasts... CJOB radio is meant for Bomber fans... just as CK whatever is for Rider fans... I have never listened to a Riders radio broadcast so I can't speak to what he does there...

The Bomber would have had a home playoff game in 2009 if they won game 18.... completely different scenarios... I love the riders current futility as much as the next guy... but Labour Day always makes me nervous... I've said it before, as bad a the Riders have looked this year... I'm not convinced we win LDC until the scoreboard says 0:00 with the bombers leading...

silly trade suggestions aside... the intriguing part of this conversation is what is Durant's value now?... Is he still a top 5 starter in the league? Or is he better suited as a reliable veteran back-up? ... I think if we had an up-and-coming young QB who looks like a future starter, Durant would be a great insurance policy... If Durant wants out of Sask after this year, he could conceivable try to win a starting job somewhere like Mtl or Tor... or here?

this is actually a great point... there are many fans that have been around since the dark days... but so many, probably the very vocal ones have really only jumped on the bandwagon in the past 10 years and have only experienced success... The thing about Chris Jones... we all know he's a great coach... he's had success and I believe he's won a Grey Cup in every stop he's been in, Mtl DC, Cgy DC, Tor DC and Edm HC... but maybe, just maybe... he's bitten off a little more than he can chew here...

I am really curious to see how Burris reacts to this demotion... I suspect he'll stay under the radar for a while... but he can only be silent for so long...

yes I should have clarified that those 12 turnovers I was referring to were in the last 2 games... the pick by Frederick in the Edmonton game was huge...

I meant the 12 turnovers in the 2 most recent wins (against Tor and Ham)... For example in the weather delay game, we had a pick and a turnover on downs, both with less than 5 mins to go, that had no effect on the game... I clearly stated we needed 6 to win the game in Hamilton... we only had 2 turnovers in the Edmonton game...

I agree with you... I'm happy if it's a win at 0:00.... but I would argue there's a big difference between our first win in Hamilton and the last 3... that first Ham game, we needed 6 turnovers to win... the last three wins have been more complete team games... I would suggest 3 or 4 of those 12 turnovers we got would be considered garbage time stats anyways...
