  1. 61-70 record as a head coach. Always coached extremely undisciplined teams, not a guy I would want around my team in any capacity.
  2. It does make sense to an extent. Kramdi always seems to be in the right spot, im just not sure he’s fast and athletic enough to be great.
  3. Yeah there’s an arrogance from O’Shea for sure where it’s like “see we can start ten plus Canadians” but it’s really we’re winning despite that. Kramdi is a good rotational piece but again he’s a victim of being asked to do too much. No one would have any issues with him or many of the Canadian players if they were planning on the role that they should be playing in.
  4. So close to a perfect week! I believe I was the only one who took Toronto over Montreal. Shame on me for taking Edmonton over Ottawa, I should have known better.
  5. I saw Hollins drop two touchdowns on Saturday and had another drop, McInnis is the one who looked unstoppable in my opinion.

One of those records that I just never see being broken. Absolutely incredible to imagine a performance like that.
  7. Well I don’t think these two teams are unbeatable. Infact I think B.C. was a lot better last year despite the big numbers from Adam’s. I like our chances next week against the Riders.
  8. Going from Sam Hurl to Adam Bighill was pretty much a franchise changer for us, love all that Bighill has done for us. First ballot hall of famer but yeah this has to hopefully be the last year. It happens to all the greats there’s no shame in it. Eventually your body starts wearing you down.
  9. 1. Wilson, absolutely outstanding, made a lot of really tough catches. I said two weeks ago on the catch and run against Calgary originally he reminded me a little bit of Rasheed Bailey, he was an absolute monster out there last night 2. Zach Collaros, started out a little slow but got better as the game went along, got rid of the ball quick, was even able to buy time by moving around the pocket 3. Brady Oliveria, quietly produced another 100 yard game and rushed for some tough yards to help keep the offence balanced. HM: Castillo was great, I don’t fault him in missing that 54 yard kick he’s been money all season, Nichols would be higher but it was a little bit of an up and down game. He got burnt a few times but also has the pick six and made a great tackle on Logan for the fumble, I thought the offensive line looked the best it’s looked all season, to me it got its first passing grade all season, and the balls on O’Shea to go for two after our last TD there. That was a great decision. I’ve always been under the impression teams should almost always go for two anyways so I like the aggressiveness.
  10. The thing that sucks about Zach is how much mobility he lost compared to 2019 or even 2021. He used to be able to move around to buy time. I watched some of the Argos and Als game and all three quarterbacks were able to move around the pocket in order to buy time to throw.
  11. It wasn’t putrid. We always had the best running game, and a Nichols had a couple of good seasons like throwing for 4400 yards with 28 TD’s and 8 INT in 2017. If Nichols didn’t hurt his shoulder he would be looked at in a different light. Man I’m just hoping for some vintage Collaros tonight. Calgary’s D is there for the pickings, I’m hoping we can establish some sort of passing game it’s been ugly.
  12. Could have been the difference maker in three one score loses..
  13. A must win. With a back to back against B.C. in August we can’t afford to dig ourselves any deeper. Got to take care of business at home tonight.
  14. You forgot about the crème de la crème. Jake Thomas.
  15. I’m not saying we’re 2011 BC lions but that season they started 0-5 and then beat us in the grey cup. Like anything there’s things to be concerned about, there’s also been some areas of improvement and optimism as well. I’m not going to give up on the season yet even though I’ve been frustrated by the roster management.
  16. Im not sure it falls under scouting necessarily. A lot of people were excited about some of the prospects we brought in to camps. We brought a lot D-Linemen and receivers into camp the issue is O’Shea cut almost every rookie that looked promising. What’s Walters and the scouting department suppose to do when O’Shea refuses to use or keep young Americans coming in?
  17. I remember suggesting in the off season that it wouldn’t be feasible going forward having three of the four highest paid receivers in the league plus the highest paid QB and RB I took some flack for suggesting Lawler would have to take a discount to stay. It’s not that these guys aren’t worth the money on their own it’s just having them all really handicaps our roster manager flexibility and now we’re paying for it. I guess the silver lining is if Schoen returns next year because of his injury I don’t think we’ll see a bump in his salary, maybe a decrease, and we’ll have some tough decisions about how we want to allocate salary.
  18. Philpott is going to get paid. I can see about 250, and he’s probably worth it to be honest.
  19. I know 1-4 has got us questioning things but man how do you live with yourself if you let a 26 year old home grown talent, 2000 all purpose yards, MOP leave to another team? Especially let’s say for example he went to B.C. our division rival.. we get to watch him for years in his prime run all over us and the CFL. I know a lot of us would be very un happy with that decision. I think because we’ve had nearly a decade of Andrew Harris and Brady Oliveria we take for granted having an outstanding running back who can get you the tough yards, take over a game, and is Canadian to boot. Look at B.C. they’ve been knocking at the door but the lack of a punishing runner when it gets cold has potentially cost them a trip to the grey cup in back to back years. We have many problems to worry about on this team but Brady isn’t one of them.
  20. As someone who’s a big fan of Streveler let’s not use the term “vastly superior” majority of the players were third and fourth string players who were cut later, it’s disingenuous, the talent level was probably even at best.
  21. He’s been noticeably good. As long as the organization can taper expectations. Good rotational player, but let’s hope they don’t ruin him by giving him the Jake Thomas treatment.
  22. Disappointed about releasing Fayad. He looked pretty good. Why not release Mitchell? He’s absolutely useless as a returner and as a receiver. I don’t understand. We’ve been under manned on the DL and just getting by and we bring one guy back just to release one guy, especially one who was useful for us. Again it’s looking like poor roster management from the Blue Bombers.
  23. https://3downnation.com/2024/07/07/ryan-dinwiddie-committed-to-chad-kelly-as-argos-starting-qb-after-suspension/ Montreal and Toronto surpassing the Riders for amount of ****** bags in their organization. Bad look from Toronto.
  24. Yeah we’re really missing Lawler right now, I’m also excited to see a little more of Wheatfall. Hopefully he gets healthy soon, once we get a few of those guys back and the addition of Whitehead we’ll be looking alright.
  25. I like Kramdi more than most. He has a good football IQ and is a solid tackler, but yeah I agree. He’s just a little bit too slow to play where he plays, the ultimate rotational player in certain situations but he’s paid like a star and it’s really hard to justify that, other then being Canadian https://3downnation.com/2024/05/13/the-cfls-15-highest-paid-defensive-backs-for-the-2024-season/
