  1. -I want to give love to Castillo. He’s looking like prime Medlock out there. Has he missed a kick since the whole chipped ball fiasco? - I also want to give love to our cover team, completely eliminated Dedmon all game long and got some nasty shots on him - I said this in another thread but i thought our secondary was outstanding as a whole . What a big signing Ford ended up being he’s been on lock down since a rough opening game . There’s the obvious ones like Brady and Streveler. A lot of hard earned runs tonight, feels good to get the win, I mean ultimately we’ve been more competitive each week we need to match that energy and then some next week against Calgary.
  2. I thought our secondary was excellent. In fact it’s been getting better every game. Only allowing a 126 yards ( a big chunk of it being on that last play of the first half) holding guys like Rhymes for 1 catch for 2 yards and Addison for 7 yards was a great effort. Ford has been the real deal. After a rough first game he’s been lock down. I thought Nichols and Bonds were both also outstanding.
  3. Well in Zach’s defense it’s a three down league. Anytime Zach went in their direction it was either a drop or a bad route from the receiver. He had no issues finding Wheatfall in the Ottawa game, you gotta prove you can move the chains.
  4. Nah he’s a vet. He should be in next week.
  5. Yeah exactly the whole point of RPO is giving you the most options to succeed. Big hole? Hand it off, open receiver throw the ball, no holes, no open receiver take it out wide and run the balll. I think a full week of game planning will help us get accustomed to what Streveler does best.
  6. 100 percent. I noticed whenever they pan to him on the sidelines he’s always walking around high-fiving and chatting with teammates. He’s someone you’d run through a brick wall for.
  7. Funny thing is even though statistically we were dominating ,a lot of the fan base were starting to see the cracks in the armour. We weren’t quite as good as in 2021, or 2022.
  8. I remember when we averaged 33 points a game last season. Those were good times.
  9. Game day baby! Going to rock the Streveler jersey to work today. Go Blue!!
  10. I’ve only watched about a combined 5 minutes of the game because I’ve been doing stuff around the house but man I’ve seen him drop like three passes, sure that was a touch catch on the pass that ended up being an INT but your right, a number one receiver comes down with that catch, and instead it gets tipped for a pick six. Brutal.
  11. Bomber bias aside it was a clean hit. Pretty much text book. Would I like to see a flag on a play where my QB is injured? Probably. But I can’t justify it as a dirty play.
  12. Is anyone in this organization going to wake up? Do they just consider this a lost season? or are they just arrogant because of past success? I can’t imagine week after week the organization could just sit here and say yep this is fine. They obviously have a deep rooted attachment to these guys who are no longer starting caliber players..
  13. There’s another western 0-4 team who could have used him! Oh well.
  14. I would be very curious to see how these statistics are determined. Obviously they’re garbage. But like I’ve always said, the eye test always beats the “fancy” numbers. Also I DO NOT WANT O’Shea and the coaching staff seeing this tweet..
  15. No offence but look at how much better his offensive line was in 2019.
  16. No concern my ass. If he’s injured that’s fine but at 0-4 I want my starters getting reps. If they put an injured Collaros with no reps into the game I’m going to be upset, might as well roll with Streveler until hes healthy enough to be at 100 percent.
  17. The elephant in the room is doesn’t really matter if Jake Thomas is getting prime Doug Brown reps, I was actually watching him in particular on Saturday and it was pathetic. He was getting absolutely man handled. Makes the jobs of the three other guys beside him that much difficult when he can’t hold his own in there.
  18. Exactly. Almost always a run right down the middle. No creativity. Run down the middle on first down then suddenly its second and long. lol play calling has been awful.
  19. True I don’t think he “fell” last season but the cracks were definitely there. That and a noticeable decline in the quality of the offensive line which has only been miles worse this season.
  20. No kidding. What people fail to realize is the biggest issue with this offense isn’t necessarily Zach it’s the offensive line. Look at our line compared to 2019 or 2021. It went from leagues best to statistically leagues worse. Zach for better or for worse holds the ball too long but he’ll move around the pocket to find the open guy, there’s literally no time to throw. I noticed against Calgary there was a lot of short quick passes, which isn’t his game at all. He can’t hold the ball in the pocket if there is no pocket longer then three seconds.
  21. Lucky is completely washed. He lost his best and really only asset that maybe him a good receiver and that was his speed. As much as our receiving core needs an upgrade I would rather give a young guy a chance with an upside. Wilson and Johnson were invisible most of the game but at least they showed promise on that last drive or the game and on OT. Sometimes a young receiver just needs the confidence booster that run and catch from Wilson was pretty amazing. He reminded me a little bit of Rasheed Bailey there.
  22. ST’s were solid in general. Coverage teams were good, Smith looked great he’s about to break one, and Castillo was money! Even give the punter some props. I didn’t see too many of those dumb kicks and I’ll give him his due for that fake punt!
  23. As much as I wanted to see a win, another loss maybe sounds the alarm that changes need to be made and that we’re not good enough. Time to make some roster changes, season isn’t over yet but enough of this country club bull **** already.
  24. What kind of comment is this?
  25. It’s a travesty that he’s playing. Just because he is playing doesn’t mean he should be. Montreal should have done the right thing in this situation.
