  1. Great drive from 8. All day baby
  2. He’s been unbelievable all season. You just don’t hear him very often because he blankets his receiver.
  3. I know our record in Regina for the LDC isn’t great and we’re bummed by Bryant not starting but I haven’t seen this low level of optimism in years. Remember the Riders haven’t won a game since the middle of July and we’re on a three game winning streak. I’m not ready to count us out yet, offensively the guys will have to be better then they were against Hamilton, and having Randolph having reps at LT all week will help, and defensively I’m not worried we’ve been outstanding most of the season. In fact having an un mobile QB like Harris in the line up gives our D an advantage. We don’t have to worry about him taking off like Patterson last time we played them. Go Bombers!!!
  4. lol I guess they’re not even pretending to play by the rules of a salary cap
  5. Do we even want a half healthy Bighill in the line up?
  6. I would feel very uncomfortable with Thomas as our seventh o-line.
  7. I can’t believe those dirt bags actually had Lemon around the team and playing during the appeal. Bush league organization.
  8. We’ve been asking for Buck to use Streveler properly all season. If it hasn’t happened yet I don’t think it’s ever going to happen.
  9. Exactly. Everyone could see we saw the best of Zach. hes 36 years old and not going to be getting any better. In fact there was a noticeable decrease in his level of play last season and he wasn’t good enough when it mattered for the last two grey cups. Dru is a decade younger and was outstanding with the same weapons Zach had and although it remains to be seen if he could do it over 18 games, there’s a lot of room for growth in his game. I said for the last two seasons he has a pro Arm. He can make those deep out throws and his decision making was something he could work on but last season his decision making was noticeably better than the season prior. The level of growth from Dru led me to believe that even if this season was a wash, by the time we host in 2025 we’d be getting Dru at his prime, and room with our cap situation to make some big moves.
  10. Robert’s was absolutely amazing. To put up 2000 all purpose yards during his prime the years we had a terrible o-line and guys like Tee Martin as QB was absolutely incredible. We’ve been blessed to have some great running backs in Winnipeg for the last 20 years but it all starts with Blink. One of those worth the price of admission kind of players.
  11. Man letting Dru Brown go was a franchise altering move. The cap we would save from Collaros to Brown alone would have allowed us to retool this year and really go all in next year for the grey cup at home. But now we’re handcuffed with Zach because of the guaranteed money.
  12. Personally I would put Johnson on the practise roster, let Whitehead play receiver and give Smith or Case another shot. Both were close to breaking one. If they see Whitehead as a returner fair enough as well but then bring in Wheatfall who had a 100 yard receiving game this season but regardless the Johnson experiment is not working.
  13. Yeah Bo going for the deep shot was a stupid move. Run the ball or try to move the sticks, no need to be that aggressive there for Hamilton.
  14. I won’t blame it all ion Zach because yes it was pretty much his worst game of the season but the O-line struggled hard, and that was often with just a three man front. Randolph in particular had a tough game. I believe he was responsible for three sacks. I mean hey for a CFL rookie to go from right guard To left tackle is a tough ask. I will give credit where credit was due, when the team needed him the most he had the game winning drive and this was all on five days rest. The offense will need to be a lot better next week in Saskatchewan.
  15. Sour grapes on the rider board about the game winning rouge. All of a sudden it’s a horrible rule that needs to be changed immediately!!
  16. By far the best DL rotation we’ve rolled out all season. I really think Gauthier is a weak link out there in the line backing core. The defense looks almost perfect otherwise.
  17. Als are easily the team to beat this season but as we know anything can happen in a best of one playoff game.
  18. Suitor is hilarious. At first I was impressed he knew about Oliverias head banging thing he does when he really gets going but he ended up mentioning it about a dozen times through out the game, then I was like oh okay it’s a TSN talking point.
  19. Yeah well the issue is as much as we complain about Bighills decline, Gauthier is a big downgrade from even the 2024 version of Biggie.
  20. All this talk about advanced real time stats lol it’s very bush league.
  21. I think a lot of people have been frustrated with the way this season has been going, and there are legitimate areas of concern about O’Shea especially around roster management, however yeah it also does rub me the wrong way when I see comments that call him an idiot or a moron, it’s just really disrespectful because O’Shea has helped build the best stretch of Bomber teams I’ve ever had in my life time, I went through a lot of bad Bomber teams in my life time and I know after four grey cup appearances the expectations get stronger but people easily forget what it’s actually like to have someone who’s clueless running the Blue Bombers.
  22. Yeah I thought the secondary was amazing. Even when Rourke had time to throw he was having a hard time finding an open receiver. You don’t often see a quarterback with that much time unable to find an open receiver. I was also thinking the same thing about Jones. What a solid addition he’s been, as an Edmonton cut, coming in and in my opinion he’s just a solid not spectacular guy. Just seems to be in the right place to make a play nothing fancy about his game but reliable. Brady was really good again but far way too few touches, he should have had about 15-20 touches. I don’t like the two cute run to Augustine early in the game, get your star running back involved early and often.
  23. Completing nearly 80 percent of his passes almost 300 yards, a TD and no INT’s.. I think he’s been good
  24. Why even put Streveler in on second and three if you’re not going to ever use it properly? Give it to Oliveria, they never let Streveler throw on short yardage plays. All it says to the d is that it’s going to be a run. At least with number 8 in there you’re keeping the defense honest.
  25. Is it me or is Rourkes body language really poor right now?
