I don't want to generalize and say all young people are naive and just do it, but it feels like many are entitled and think that they should buy new trucks, bigger houses, yearly trips etc... I would not be opposed for high schools to teach financial management and/or somehow make it legal for anyone to chastise the parents who constantly spoil their children and bail them out.
  2. I'm still amazed that Faj is leading the league in deep balls and yards per game passing. I never thought that this would ever happen.

I don't have the numbers but a large amount of people can't afford rent/mortgages but somehow still manage. Lots of people live in debt.
  4. Our local married feminists sure are quiet when people make fun of the looks of a female PC candidate. 😕
  5. I love the city of Montreal, I had the chance to spend a week earlier this year and it's a beautiful city with a lively downtown. What I hate about Montreal is the annoying fan(s) who blare the air horns and whatever else during each home game. It really diminishes the experience on tv and I can only imagine how much worst it is in person.
  6. I'm not sure if the Riders have a crap d-line or if BC's o-line was fantastic but numerous times Adams had zero pressure on him and all the time in the world to make his throws. I'd like to see how he performs with a steady stream of pressure on him.

All Presidents for the last many decades have been puppets on stage being controlled by big business and others. Biden is just more comical because he comes off inept and senile and his legacy sadly will be him falling down stairs and falling asleep and being awkward with kids. All of them are corrupt, Dems / Reps / Tories / Liberals / NDP etc.... It would be naive to think that any of them are running with no skeletons in the closet.
  8. VAJ is so hot and cold , I'm not sure why Farhan would X that? I had to chuckle at Suitor suggesting that Jones/Bane JR were elite, that the OC for Saskatchewan is a young up and coming coordinator, how VAJ is in the talks for MOP, his love for Save-On Foods.... he was in fine form tonight!
  9. Emmanuel Arceneaux who is old and way past his prime? Kyran Moore coming off three years of injuries and only one good season? Drops lots of balls. Dunbar who has a total of one 1000 yard season which was last season where he had exactly 1000 yards? I guess Dillon Mitchell thinks highly of himself based on a single 600 yard season? Geno Lewis is legit but ended up getting hurt early and has barely played. That receiving core is a whole lot of mediocre. That team also had (maybe still has) a terrible o-coordinator. McAdoo has always been the drizzling poops.
  10. No it isnt. Brown plays on the best team in the league and his big game was against the worst team in the league. Many players put in that position would also show well. He looked very mediocre / subpar when playing against a 3-6 Calgary team. It's a case of some people having blue tinted glasses. Yourself included.
  11. Not for Edmonton, Ottawa, and Hamilton. They are that bad that unless you bring a superstar game changing QB they wouldn't be much further ahead. Case in point look at ZC in Saskatchewan. You keep forgetting Dru Brown gameplay experience is with the best team in the league, I'm sure Tre Ford, Dustin Crum, Taylor Powell all would look light years better playing at QB for the Bombers. Watch the game yesterday, he had time in the pocket to make throws, his receivers were not dropping balls, he had a great running back helping him out. The dude just looked like a young player who isn't ready yet. Which is normal and is part of the growing pains of gaining experience. But to suggest he goes to Edmonton and instantly makes them better then what they are now with Tre Ford is silly.
  12. Largely disagree, all of those teams have terrible receivers, mediocre o-lines and a complete lack of a running game mostly because of the first two issues. This isn't like the dying days of the Matt Nichols time with the Bombers where everything was in place and only the QB was holding the team back.
  13. 3DownNation believes its Betts
  14. And that is exactly my point, Dru Brown playing behind a great team has him doing well. Dru Brown playing behind a terrible team.... odds are unlikely.
  15. Do you think he starting for Edmonton, Hamilton and Ottawa that his play would make any difference to the current situation that t hose teams have? Maybe in Saskatchewan because they have some talent at receiver and I do think they have decent rbs. I'm not saying that they wouldn't pay him to start... I don't see him succeeding with any of those teams unless they drastically change the look of what they currently have.
  16. I don't think that's a good idea. Brown wasn't terrible he still showed way more then a guy like Crum. He just looked like a guy making his 2nd ever start and still has much more room to grow. He may want to start on another team next year but I don't think he's ready nor does he have the physical tools to survive an onslaught. When Mike Reilly started he was a big dude and had a cannon arm, so he can on his own make things happen. I don't see that in Brown.
  17. That was extremely bad, he had no guys near him and the ball was right between the numbers.
  18. You can't blame wind, Buck Pierce, ZC, Prukop , whatever else with the times Dru locked in on his first read and telegraphing his throws. It looked to me that he was over thinking tonight rather then just trusting his instincts like he did last week against Edmonton. He wasn't Crum level bad but he definitely looked the same way as he did in pre season when he struggled to make routine throws. I'm not sure if I heard right on the broadcast as I had the volume on low for parts of the game, but did they quote Brown saying that he will follow Zach's advice on where to go to next season to start? I'm hoping that I completely misheard that because if that was indeed what was said then clearly Brown needs to get his head back into the game and needs to check that ego because one game doesn't make a guy a desired free agent. If that was not what was said then disregard this last sentence.
  19. Paging JuranBoldenRules.... Dru Brown looked like how he did in the pre season this year, very tenative and he was extremely lucky that he had 2 sure fire ints dropped and could of had another ball easily picked off. The guy is a work in process but had a terrible outing tonight, I wouldn't blame Buck or the o-line for his telegraphed throws. That being said... Dakota Prukop WTF are you doing out there tonight? Seriously this wasn't a high pressure game and these mistakes could of killed us. Tonight was just weird all around... Brady is dominating and we get into the red zone and don't even try to hand it off to him? The refs were all over the place, some ticky tacky calls and some blatant big time calls completely missed. Maier's first long bomb in the game clearly showed Jeffcoat being manhandled and held and yet no call? Wilson and Nichols were amazing all night long, Houston makes two great plasy but gets burned on three other plays for big time gains for Calgary. People dump on McCrae for his mediocre returns... on offense however the dude is lightning and great. Calgary drops a sure fire TD, Maier under throws many guys, Michel over acts on his one big catch despite being invisible for the whole game, just all around awful performance by them also. This was ugly, hopefully this is a one off.
  20. 1 - Brady 2 - Kyrie Wilson was amazing same with Nichols. 3 - D line was surprisingly good despite not getting much in the way of sacks. HH - Castillo Lots of people will say Houston... the pick 6 was amazing and without that we would of lost. HOWEVER the dude was burned on at least 3 long bombs... another jekyl and hyde performance by the guy. Most annoying - The constant talk about the 25 year anniversary of the Grey Cup game... they missed out on lots of big plays and why would they keep talking about it and showing the kick with only a few minutes left in a tight game? That was bad.
  21. Prukop can pass, his arm isn't an issue.
  22. LOL fair point! I think he looks more like this guy:
  23. I was saying it in jest... I've only seen him block and the only positive I've heard was that he was a Navy Seal. I don't understand why he's in.

If it was all about doing the right thing and morality then every forest and every lake would have to be searched and that would cost billions of dollars. At some point you have to be fiscally responsible. People would be shocked to find out how many people are missing/kidnapped/murdered around the province every year. I remember going to Cross Lake 5 or so years ago and they were having issues with missing teens and were losing several every month with many of them going missing and commiting suicide and the reserve having no idea because the area is considerably remote and with all the surrounding water bodies can transport anywhere. It is a needle in a haystack with finding anyone if they are in the wilderness.
  25. Navy seal and grit and blocks...
