And injuries. Even high school now we're about 1/3 practices in pads...but a lot of guys have never played before. They aren't getting much contact until they are out there for real. OK DL Coach...teach the guys about offside.

Imagine if hockey players only wore skates on gamedays. I think the pendulum will need to swing a bit back to more contact in practices even if it's not always full speed.

Augustine is a fine place holder and special teamer, but we 100% need an import on the practice roster ready to go if needed.

Parker and Holm are great looking CFL DB's. Can turn up the aggression and come down hill at ballcarriers, great ball skills, both can return kicks too. I don't see anyway that these two guys don't make the team, even if it means one of Rose or Lawrence are cut. Kelly noticeable in contain on punt cover, bet he's on the roster day 1 too. I'm hoping for a little more juice out of Brian Cole if he's there when he gets out there at WIL.

You'd like to see them not consistently driven out and downfield though. I'm looking forward to seeing some of the other backers...maybe some of them won't hang out at 5 yard depth waiting for the ball each down unless they are blitzing. I expected a lot more physicality and sideline to sideline type play from Wade.

Staton is smooth.

Not a huge fan of either of these linebackers so far. Not much pursuit and flow to the ball. If play is in their gap they might make it.

Turning and running parallel to the line of scrimmage is never a good idea for a running back. Backers on their heels so far.

He better make some plays at DB.

I'm fine with Augustine as a backup on gameday...but we shouldn't ever start a game with him as our main back. Just very little burst, no burst, compounded by the hesitation.

Wade isn't looking that great to me. Would like to see some physicality running pure vanilla. Get to the ball.

They should put Clements at DT because all he can do is sit in B gap. Can't get to the ball.

That first ball to BOLO is a TD if the receiver adjusts at all.
