Around the League: 2018 Season
I'm surprised that Rainey didn't get a fine.

Around the League: 2018 Season
We lost to Hamilton with our backup QB and it wasn't a close game. The Riders won a close game against Hamilton with their backup QB. Does that make them bad and us good? Nope. Does that make them good and us bad? Nope. I called the Riders a surprising 2-2. I haven't predicted any of their games right this year. I have called all 4 of the Bomber games right. That makes them an unsurprising 2-2 at least to me. W's are the way everyone keeps track. Winning by big margins doesn't give you any more W's or any more points in the standings. We are equal in the standings. Does that make us equal teams? Nope. Going forward, baring injuries, I expect that we will win more games than the Riders do because I think we are the better team, but that doesn't change the fact that the Riders right now are not one of the 2 worst teams in the league. DAFUQ Wanna? No the first statements aren't equal and neither are the second statements.

I'm not downplaying the Bombers accomplishments or suggesting that the Riders are on the same level as us. I'm saying that we haven't beaten anyone of note yet, just the bottom two teams in the league. You're the one saying the Riders are crappy because they've only beaten eastern teams, yet we couldn't beat Hammy and they did.

I agree that they haven't beaten any good teams, but then again, neither have the Bombers.

The 2 worst teams in the league right now are BC and Montreal. The Riders are a surprising .500.

The Day Early Game Day Thread BC @ WPG
No way he was getting the ball himself. Adams had position and could see the ball coming. Best assumption is that he's going to catch it so you try to take it away from him. Timing sucked tho.

The Day Early Game Day Thread BC @ WPG
He didn't have any intention of catching the ball or knocking it out of bounds. It was an attempt to separate the receiver from the ball.

The Day Early Game Day Thread BC @ WPG
I doubt there will be a suspension. He was half a second early trying to jar the ball free. Deserved a penalty because of the timing of the hit, but nothing more.

Do The Lions Eat Us Up Saturday Night?
The D looks good when the 4 D lineman can get that much pressure and the QB plays badly. BC's O line and Jennings were both horrible. If Lulay plays next week, half the problem with the Lion offense is instantly fixed.

3 stars + hh bc sucks (late) edition.
1. Bighill - 2 Int's, 1 for a TD. 2. Harris - Hard running every single time. 3. Randle - A great pick and sold all night long. The happy honker award goes to the player who did something extra and last night that was... Miller for that great catch.

Week 4 Ottawa @ Montreal
I'd take Matthews over Willy too, but that's not saying much. Willy's done and has been done for years. Adams may be better than both, but I doubt he knows the entire offense yet.

Nichols off the 6 game IR
Not what I said at all. I guess you never bothered to read what I actually said slowly like I suggested. Not going to goaded into yet another useless pissing contest with you. Cheers.

Nichols off the 6 game IR
I'm beginning to worry about you. Are you really saying that because a QB in '70's wore a knee brace that Nichols is telling the complete unvarnished truth about his injury? That comparison is just as bad as comparing Brock to Streveler after his first game.
-
Nichols off the 6 game IR
His knee brace would suggest otherwise. No one should take an athletes take on their own injury as the unvarnished truth.

Do The Lions Eat Us Up Saturday Night?
It doesn't fix the D. It gives the O a better chance to put up the 30 or so points needed to get wins.

Do The Lions Eat Us Up Saturday Night?
It's a couple of tough games in a row. BC hasn't looked very good this year, but they can rush the passer, complete some deep balls and they need a win against a western team to stay in the running. We've looked better than I expected with a raw rookie QB, but our defense has been leaking like a sieve. I'm expecting a split.

Why We Lost
And we played Montreal who has the worst offense in the league by far.
-
A Long Term Team
True and maybe it's part of the problem. Optimism only gets you so far. Eventually you have to win playoff games and the Grey Cup.

Why We Lost
Coverage was fine, but... We punted out of bounds and took a 10 yard penalty. O'Shea went for a 60 yard FG again. Our kick returns weren't good.

Should Walters, Miller And The Board Of Directors Put Pressure On MOS To Fire Hall?
O'Shea's already stated that he's taking a bigger role in the defense and I haven't seen any difference. Have you?
-
Why We Lost
This isn't a case of blaming the loss on any one group. We were soundly beaten on offense and defense. Special teams weren't that great either other than the fake punt.

Should Walters, Miller And The Board Of Directors Put Pressure On MOS To Fire Hall?
Hall should have been replaced in the off season, but now isn't the time to change DC's. Sadly, we need to wait until the next off season now.

Game Day Thread- Week Three: Winnipeg @ Hamilton June 29, 2018
As I've said before Diet Coke is vile, and I suspect watching a game with you would be too. Cheers tho. I'm having a nice Amarone as I get ready for the game.
