Started watching The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel on Prime recently... just got through the first season and it's fantastic. Very witty and fast paced... the characters are all very well done.

I rewound it on TV, and they called it right... the closest guy was outside of 5 yards.

They said 3rd and 1, but based on where he was down, that was 3rd and 2. Brady placed it out a yard long after he was down.

Brady's run had a really late whistle too though... he was on the ground for a 2 or 3 count before they blew it... whistles are in slow-mo tonight.

I met him a couple of times too and he was really nice and polite at those times too. I really think that his big mistake was replacing Glenn in the offseason. If he hadn't done that, I believe the team would have done much better that year and I wonder if the "handled internally" stuff would have even happened.

Uttering threats to some random person is one thing... Uttering threats to interfere with or influence a court proceeding is on a whole other level. As you say, if it is provable in court (which is pretty easy with the trail of evidence that is out there), then they should definitely be going to jail. One would hope that it would discourage others from doing the same.

First off, identifying as a cat has nothing to do with gender, so playing along with that is dumb. Second, I don't know that I believe that's actually a thing... it wouldn't surprise me if that was something that someone came up with as the "big scary extreme" to scare people into not accepting true gender diversity at all because they just don't want to.

If I remember correctly, he saved the Bombers by being very fiscally responsible. After they were on better footing though, the cheapness handcuffed the team a bit and that's when people turned on him. Agreed that he did a bunch of good, but may have overstayed it.

Cui was handed the mess and wasn't given the opportunity to even try to fix it. He started the season with some good marketing to get people in the seats, but there's only so much you can do from a marketing perspective when the team is so bad that fans are wearing paper bags on their heads. If he had hired Jones, then 100% I would agree with you, but the fact that the board signed that contract before hiring Cui, I can't blame him for anything that is wrong with the team right now. Agreed with others that I felt that he was like Doman in BC. Was he good at his job? Who knows, maybe he was, maybe he wasn't, but we'll never know because the team on the field is so bad that nobody can market it and create a good game day experience successfully.

Sorry to hear this... I thought he was doing a good job at the beginning of the season to try and create some excitement around the team. The fact that the GM and Head Coach have tanked the team is definitely not on him. I feel like Cui and Jones probably butted heads and Jones won out by being tighter with the board.

Contact with the QBs head when he's the one who caused it by ducking into the contact has been called before, so I don't buy that excuse from the offical/command centre.
