We always work in the db back side blitz. Hes good at it. He’s not good at making plays in coverage. Which is entirely fine. You need role players in your ni group. We can excel on D with him in a specific role, clearly. The issue is we have over paid him by a big chunk. If he can take one more step forward as a player, it won’t be an issue. Unless we then try to pay him crazy ford money. But he we also need him to retain his level of play from the second half and change of last year. We can’t have him step back from that closer to his career average level of play. He went from a good back up rotational ni, to a solid starting ni. Paying guys ahead of that step is dangerous and bad business.
