  5. I still dont understand the logic of dressing only 6 dlinemen (Hamilton for example dresses 8) Like last game 1 goes down and the remaining 5 get worn down. Why we let Munier-Bailey go is a mystery

  8. yeah the big question on MCI is can he block esp with the emphasis Condell has put on pass protection.
  9. Most reports I've seen has had Clercius having a good camp (its not a coincidence thats the one receiver position there is competition for), If we can get this guy going it will go a long way. You're right if we see Corcoran out there I'd be very disappointed as in here we go again with O'Sheas decision making
  10. we haven't even played a preseason game, the receiver positions are pretty locked up, the vets arent going to go all out in practice, just look at what happened to Knox. I have zero worries about our starters. It does look like the new receivers haven't impressed a lot as they just added another one.
  11. the thing is when you go to free agency to completely turnover your roster, by the time they learn how to play together effectively the season is more than half over and you end up with a losing record, to which Ottawa responds by doing the same reaction with likely the same result
  12. Yeah, no mention is made that sask has lost Carney,Allen,Reaves,Nield, Baldanado, Ajou, and Micah Johnson, yet Cfl.ca figures they will win more games than last year. ( Winnipeg and Edmonton both will be stronger as well)
  13. Thats if Wallace wants to stay here , he may have desires to go back closer to home. If were gonna lose him as has been the case with Dobson, Desjarlais, even as far back as Couture . then maybe we need to explore trade options. Other wise were just developing him for some one else.
  14. we should sign him if we can to an extension. Compared to other teams we seem very reluctant to sign players to extensions other that Zac and Id much rather sign a young player with potential than someone on the down side of his career.. If we cant sign him then trading him for a high draft pick to select a replacement would be smart
  15. surprised that the argos aren't asking to play at least three games here. Calgary Edmonton and Mtrl might want to get in on that action too
  16. last year he had Alford who was picked 1st as the seventeenth pick he had Veresuk who was picked 2nd as the 13th pick Andersen (ol) he had 3rd vs actual of 13th hes fine with the overall top twenty players but missed a lot in terms of actual order
  17. there's no doubt that we overpaid for Collaros for this year based on his performance over the past two years The problem was that there isn't a lot of alternatives. Walters needed to show some backbone knowing that no one else would pay more than 500k. However if it had dragged on, it certainly would have made it harder to attract free agents without a legitimate qb under contract. Unfortunately, this was a year where there was no other starting qbs available. The other factor is that we were able to resign our own free agents to have one more crack with this core at the cup
  18. Thats not a better question, if the alterative was Maier or Powell wed stand no chance of making playoffs
  19. I agree, of the qbs left very few games they started in resulted in wins. Mtrls record was awful without Evans, Adams in Ottawa same, as was Patterson Masoli etc
  20. No matter what the cap is, or exemptions there is no way a cfl team can compete with the nfl financially. It would just drive up payrolls
