I'm happy with 5 straight appearances...not the recent results tho

We have issues...and success aside...a lot stems at HC

He needs to change some his ideals and beliefs...and if he can't or won't...we will see similar results...a lot of good but failures when it matters...3 yrs in a row is got to have a reason...thinking otherwise is asinine

  • They still won the west and made a 5th straight Grey cup... they still had a top defense throughout the year and even in this game... it's not as dire as all that, some tweaks needed. Move on from som

  • They don't even travel to their own stadium

  • It's a shame the 3 cup losses overshadow what has been the best 5 years of football this organization has delivered in decades. Yeah it sucks losing the big one but I've had loads of fun/enjoymen

The plays were there on O.  They weren't made.  I didn't like the D game plan.  More passive than it has been in awhile and I don't really know why.  Not talking about blitzes, but coverages.  We gave away the first 5-10 yards most downs to the pass if he wanted it.  Seems we worried about a big play rather than getting driven down the field, and we weren't aggressive on the ball.

Coaching includes the roster, and I can agree with some of that.

It's an absolute joke that we weren't bringing a guy in every week and just rolled with Whitehead as an example.  We had no playmakers on the DL, and really none in the LB crew if you count Kramdi as a DB.

There's lots of issues on the personnel side.  I don't think you simply fire the coach that built the whole thing and think that it changes the outcome or even gets you close to playing in these games.  We experienced that for 20 years after the board dismantled the Murphy regime.  It's an easy rush of seeing the coach fired for some in the fan base for sure.

The only thing I really don't like about MOS is that we're still playing like we're the underdogs.  We had one year in 2021 where we felt comfortable being the cock of the walk, otherwise on D it feels like we're scheming to mitigate risk and not make plays.

Agree with all that.

I just don't know what they need to do. In 22 and 23 they took their opponents lightly and lost on the last second. In 24 they were supposedly all business and ready to get it done. And the offensive players were garbage. Mostly the receivers. Where do you go from here?

What about today’s performance made you think they were all business? They played horrible. I’m not trying to give you a hard time man but what are you really basing any of this off of? Are we just taking what they say in the media at face value?

They came in super SUPER unprepared in every way today

They hadn’t matched up well with Toronto all season.  Both games their D soundly outplayed our offense.

This is on Buck and on the personnel side of things.

Yup exactly and the call early in the game they intervened in was so close so they set that precedent but no they went radio silent for the rest of the game. It’s not the reason we lost but does impact the game.
No f’ing consistency. I think it’s a reasonable expectation.

The offside on the first pick six by the Argos is really bad.  The blitzers foot is level with our RT's foot at the snap.

What really hurts is letting brown and grant walk, then running out guys who can’t play at all. Wanna go young fine do it. But we didn’t. We just went with other old guys lol.

Despite the score, this is on one side of the ball.

I do believe that some of this is on O'Shea.  If you look at that. Interception/ knockdown from Willie Jefferson in third quarter... Nobody was up and down celebrating or getting jacked up.  They just walk away. There needs to be some passion and excitement.  Gotta show emotion. I believe that's O'Shea's style.

That being said, get rid of Buck.  Offence needs a shakeup.   And we do need to groom a new QB.

LMAO at "it's Osh's fault"... Get ******. The players didn't execute. The receivers especially... Absolutely terrible. This is not on Osh and I'm not even sure it's on Buck.

TIL it's under performing/inured players determine the play calling and when who sees the field, and not the coaches.

Relax bro... It's gonna be okay. Next year is what it was always about. It's not on Osh. The receivers have to catch the ball.

Do you actually believe changes will be made? I don't. I think it'll just be another year of the same thing.

Osh won't change...he will continue to lean on out dated vets...play favs of his over better talent...won't allow new blood to step up unless it's an injury...won't deviate because it worked before...

I agree that one side of the ball definitely sank us, but I think there was a very obvious gap in our D all day too. Nick Taylor playing significant reps and our gameplan being so passive allowed Toronto free rein in that 7-12 yard middle of the field all night long. Certain guys on D came to play but the middle of that lineup was horrendous from interior DL back to safety.

The scary thing with this roster is without some massive changes in free agency our OL looks really bad moving forward.

Wallace might play at one guard spot but he's blown out both knees in 2 of past 3 seasons.  Not sure I'd go into a season counting on him for 18 games +.

Neufeld is done.  Dobson is off his rookie deal, tough to value him and hard to know what someone else might pay.  He should get better, but seems to have plateaued a bit.

Load up on Americans.

Good question. I think if some guys retire they will follow through. If guys like Jake wanna come back for more, I think it’s 1/3 chance we run it back.
I don’t think the upper mafia will be content to maintain going into a host year. But they might be scared to rock the boat.

I hope not. I’m tired of this version of the team. I can’t get excited about the prospect of Biggie, Jake, Alexander, even ZC back for 2025

I don't want to run O'Shea or Buck out of town.   I think it's time for another round of cleansing and unfortunately the QB position is one that needs to be done sooner then later.

On D ,  I want a different strategy.   The Richie Hall / Younger D that 100% relies on amazing pressure from a few guys up front just doesn't cut it unless you have multiple all stars in those spots.    I think it being tweaked and new (hopefully talented) recruits would make a huge difference.   The whole season it felt so passive and anemic... at no point did I ever feel like we had the guys or the scheme to have our front 7 guys causing havok or creating big play turnovers.   The secondary is legit... everything else just felt so stagnant.

Also a new returner and punter please and thank you.  I don't know why we kept trotting out mediocrity without attempting to find a guy who can do more then C level of play.
