This seems like a bad decision. I haven't watched he'd a lot of ott football, but it didn't seem like Dru Brown was playing poorly

Browns out week to week with his injury.

More due to the ankle injury Brown suffered, along with Crum looking awful

 

I'm actually scared for Masoli. The dude is a play away from injury every time he takes a snap. And worse yet was when he fainted on our sideline weeks ago

Have to wonder, why wouldn't a perennial failure of a team like Cleveland give this guy a roster spot?  Who do they have at QB that is any better?

Watson is 10x better than Rourke

Rourke running out of interested nfl teams willing to give him a shot...Is that 5 that have said thanx but no thanx....They obviously don't think he's nfl calibre....When it finally all drys up, he may as well face the fact he might have to come back to the league he once called an unfortunate stop over, or something to that effect

It was an inevitability. UDFA QBs rarely get any sort of real opportunity,

So Rourke likely waits out the year and then makes CFL Off-Season 2025: The Winter of Rourke, right?

I don't see Rourke waiting too long to come back to the CFL.  He likely needs to be making money at this point in his life. He spent three years in the CFL on a rookie Canadian deal making next to nothing. 1 year in the NFL where he made decent money. Career's are short and he could be earning 650k plus a year in the CFL.  Financially its time for this guy to make home somewhere, buy a house, make investments for life after football ect.
