Allow me to re-phrase my earlier post for the pedantic newcomer... The Winnipeg Bombers have now signed all of their 2017 draft picks with the exception of Geoff Gray.  Gray is currently under co

Probably not relevant, but he and Corney were teammates at UVA in 2015.

Interesting, wonder if he's a guy recommended by Corney in his intake interview last year.

Possibly someone the scouts noticed while watching Corney

I'd love to see us sign TJ Jones. Born in Winnipeg when his Dad, Andre, was a defensive end for the Bombers he starred at Notre Dame and has been been with the Detroit Lions for the past 3 years.

If he is willing to change the "j" in his first name to a "y" then I am all over it.

Ummm.....Ty Jones has slowed down since you last saw him. A lot.

I was wondering when they'd bring in some RB competition.  Div III but obviously he was head and shoulders above the competition, with those numbers...

Reminds me of a certain sac state alum who rushed for 409 yards in one game and had a nice lil career here... (more then fred reid any way lol)

Normally when you see a stat line like his (especially in sub d1 competition) you think its horrible gap assignment issues and running through wide open holes (like the fred reid game up here) but he seemed to run through arm tackles or better contact on all most all those plays.

Reminds me a bit of cam marshall. Short stocky rb, good speed, good strength, runs north south a lot. Likes the contact doesnt shy away at all. Lots of run plays out of the gun which should translate well, and had a couple catches which is allways good too.  Should be fun to watch him in camp.

Roberson looks like one of the best off-season signings. Looks perfect for the CFL. I hope he has his head screwed on properly.

not a lot there but sounds like a good student athlete and like some one who loves football, and had deep roots with his program.

pro day numbers of 4.48 40, 34.5 vert, 18 reps 225, 3 cone of 7.00, 4.16 shuttle, 9'9" broad jump. and measured 5'8. Certainly one of the more interesting rookie imps to watch for camp.

“I heard a running back say there’s a hammer and a nail in every football play,” explained Roberson, “you get to decide what you want to be. In a muddy game, in the rain, someone’s gotta be the hammer.” Roberson provides easy banter, doesn’t talk about himself or his attributes, instead focusing on his teammates and his faith. He truly feels blessed for his abilities and the opportunity presented to him at ETBU.

Ya sounds like hes got a real good head on his shoulders and that hard nose hard work ethic that mos loves. Tbh, if he is gonna have any chance of making the active roster he is gonna need to be versatile and play teams. He does look like a serious threat to be the no2 back, the imp DI / pr incase harris gets hurt.

If he can do punts and kick-offs, he has a shot at sticking around... would be nice to DI a back-up RB that can handle those duties...

Where do you get 4 tailbacks from?

Roberson - returning punts/kickoffs?

I have think the odds of this happening are somewhere around 0%.

That's why I'm wondering how Roberson fits on the gameday roster to return punts and/or kicks?
