Vesa has a very good defensive game. I dont expect him to light it up this season but.. Maybe similar to K Con his 1st season, sticks, demoted, comes back strong. Kids young tho. Puljus main issue is a hip or knee thing.. Vesa is healthy

He was tested on the 2nd.. Clean. Then on the 12th, assuming thats where the positive showed up.. So in basically a week since his clean test he juiced? Cmon and barely enough to register? Thought Hansen really stood out in pre-season on special teams. Was definitely noticed. Hes been a solid surprise tho.

Regardless, production vs Salary vs off field distractions vs Vets guaranteed salary = he gone. I think part of his release is off field distractions.. I think part of it is money vs production.. I wouldn't be surprised if there were personality clashes.. Matthews just seemed disinterested to me. Was he doing all the little things? Who knows.

Sounds like it wasn't. Jeff Hamilton seems to think its because as a Vet hes due his full salary after the 1st. Pretty apparent its lack of production for 2 much money. If ppl are looking at production vs salary... Im surprised He lasted this long.

Hes not making big money tho. Matthews = big money and made 1 or 2 plays and lots of drops.
