Nichols is injured on the big sack. Nichols does not have the mobility Streveler does and is sacked many more times and carted off the field. Nichols without his checkdown Harris is killed. Nichols also likely gets worse as the game goes on. Nichols consistently throws for under 200 and would have at the LDC. He also doesnt put up 65 yards running. We lose with Nichols. In what World does Nichols win when the D or Special teams dont score a TD?

Do u actually watch the games? If you did you would likely realize that even with Nichols and Harris our O rarely puts up over 20 points... The only time we put up points is when the D or Sp Tms score TDs.

Anybody watch any of the other games. FFS Torontos O is more creative than ours and moves the ball more. Receivers are actually open. Balls are thrown to spots. Lapo is so overrated

Nichols O leads league in 2 n outs.. Lowest passing yards per game.. No receiver on pace for 1000 yards. Why ppl pretending the O is winning games?

If you want Matt Nichols.. Boring conservative 0 that puts up 180 passing a game.. I dont think u will get that with Strev. His strengths are different. We started out the game playing Matt Nichols O.. Pocket passer no running.. Get away from that with misdirection etc and we put up numbers. Lapo is the problem.

Our starter routinely throws for less than 200 yards. I mean.. 160 plus 65 plus running is more. I don't get the passing thing.. In this current O scheme we arent putting up 500 yards passing.

He certainly doesn't escape from multiple blitzes or puts up 65 yards running.

If Nichols started yesterday we lose. Its that simple. Its also likely Streveler would be starting next week because Nichols is likely hurt. Take Harris away.. The O struggles. Nichols put up about 180 yards a game through the air. Maybe 5 on the ground.. Strev put up 160 plus 65 on the ground.. Augustine is not Harris. This is pretty obviously not a nichols vs Streveler thing. Its an OC putting square pegs in round holes thing. The whole pocket passer BS with Strev to start.. The Augustine up the gut run calls.. The Demski role.. It was just dumb. Our OC is scared. Its not the QB.. Its the OC.

He put up more combined yards then Nichols does. He didn't have Harris there to help him either.

Sure. If u ignore the fact the bombers were moving the ball almost at will in the 2nd half.. Mostly via Strevelers arm.

In the end our O scored to take the league.. Our specials pinned them deep.. Our D couldnt keep the riders under 50 yards to win. They gave up 80.

Considering our dual threat QB was turned in to a pocket passer by our OC in the first Q and our O had minus 10 yards after the 1st Q but finished with just less than Sask overall.. Not really. Guy had a good game.

I know its dumb but i think the league needs to seriously look at the officiating in these games. Blatant holds resulting in big plays not called..the headshot to Remple..
