I'm never confident in the LDC... even in 2011... 7-1 vs 1-7 and I wasn't confident!

this actually just goes to show you how short term a lot of the "die-hard" fans are... if they were truly committed for so many years they'd remember the... ohhhh, first 90, or so, years of the Riders existence.... EDIT: I read some of the "I'm done" thread and it sounds like there's maybe only a few doom and gloom-ers.... a lot of people recognize they are not getting a quick rebuild...

we were section O from 2004 - 2012... the price for season tickets was around $80 in 2004... perfect price for a bunch of poor kids just about to start university! PS - from our original group of 7 or 8 in 2004... only 2 still remain as season ticket holders... now in section 203...

If passing yards were the only factor in deciding a game, then no... but - as my original point said - if the opposing QB throws 300+yards and we give up less than 20 points... I like our chances most games...

the penalties in the second half were getting frustrating... I think we had 4 major fouls in the half... that is inexcusable under any circumstances...

I would have like to have seen at least one TD drive in there... of only in prep for the games where we're holding a 7 point lead rather than a 34 points lead...

just curious if you saw that hold on Knox?... I watched the replay and all I saw was Knox basically touching the arm of the defender around the time the flag was thrown... not sure if that was the actual penalty... but if it was, calling that borderline would be generous...

According to the Riders depth chart they started 3 on D and 4 on O... which is the ratio they would need to maintain throughout the game... In order to track it I guess someone would have to go through every play and count the players on the field... this actually legitimately sounds like a fun activity (if I had the time and access to film)...

I can't say I was that confident last night... still made me nervous kicking to Banks knowing he can change momentum at any moment... but I was really impressed with our cover teams last night...

I think I'd have to agree with you on that... that would be a harsh punishment... but the ratio is so vital to the game it's hard to give them a pass... When people complain about our Cdn depth think about the home game against Calgary... after injuries we had Couture, Chungh, Goossen, and Thomas (a d-lineman) playing OL, Harris at RB, Kohlert at WR, Cummings and Westerman on DL and Jones, Morgan and Loffler in the secondary... and we didn't look out of place.... not saying I want to start 11 Nationals.... but we showed we can play that many in a pinch...

what's the saying about stats being for losers... something like that... I'll gladly give up 300+ yards a game if we're only allowing 11 points... but I do agree about the offense in the second half... would have been nice to see a kill shot and put the game away in the 3rd quarter... was kinda hoping to see Dom Davis in this game too...

I feel like this might be a very conservative estimate... I've always hated the idea of playing under a dome... there's maybe one or 2 games a season where it would be nice to play indoors... but imagine going to the stadium in the summer when it's 25 and sunny... then going inside to watch a football game?!?

Jace Davis was considered the cream of the new WR crop this year... but I really like what we've seen from Mayo and Kris Adams (in limited action).... really loved that catch he made on the sidelines late in the game... it feels like so long since we've seen a receiver make a big catch to seal a game...
