Quarterback controversy?
You absolutely must know with the current coaching staff he will not be given the opportunity to start unless he is the last man standing. I look forward to the day when the Bombers have an OC that will play the appropriate QB for the appropriate situation instead of the one QB fits all scenario. My realistic hope is that they design a red-zone offence around Marve's talents and practice it enough to make use of it in games next season.

Props to the O-line
Exactly Brohm was getting the ball out faster than Willy, Marve runs better than Willy and and cotton found his holes in party because Marve helped open **** up and in part because he's just plain better than Grigsby. O-line wasn't really any different. Exactly, with Marve's mobility the D couldn't focus on a single point of attack so that opened up everything for Cotton. The O-line was never that bad, it was the protection they were trying to provide to the pocket on every play that caused most of the breakdowns. Sad that Marcel couldn't figure this out earlier.

Als @ Argos
Sure would like to see Slaton or Steele playing for the Bombers, both of those guys run with purpose.

Als @ Argos
Crompton definitely playing with confidence which Willy is sorely lacking right now.

Als @ Argos
Crompton looking fantastic, he may be a more complete QB than Willy.

Depth Chart - Willy out
Who said Etch can't make adjustments to his philosophy .. Are we sure it's Etch making this call? Me thinks O'Shea may be taking the bull by the horn a bit. Could be that Miller got involved and told O'Shea that he was delusional about making the playoffs and that it was time to shake things up and start getting ready for next year.

Kyle Walters
Neither of those decisions would make sense for those teams unless they have backups that can replace their #2 QB's. I'm sure they don't want to venture down the road that Sask. has trod this year.

Redblacks @ TiCats
Rick Campbell might be available for a coordinator job next year ala Tim Burke.

Jon Cornish has strained ACL
Am I the only one that saw the Stamps DB's passing around a joint in the second half??? Based on this quote alone, I'm not entirely sure who's passing around the joint. I'm a bit selfish, I only pass from my right hand to my left, than back again.

Troy Smith Released
I agree, Grigsby wants to quit screw him, don't set him free to find a job with a competitor. All together different scenario with Alex Suber and Will Ford, they deserved the opportunity to continue their careers if they couldn't be accommodated here. I'd venture to say that Marcel may have designed a position around Grigsby's skills similar to Durie's if he would have had the patience to stick around until next year.

Troy Smith Released
Because of the hype when he came to the Als. Smith probably had a burdensome contract well beyond the usual for a CFL-green QB. I think Sask. would be smart to put him on their PR and see if they can't make something out of him, by the time Durant retires he just might be ready.

This is correct. If correct, doesn't the same thing apply to Grigsby?

Grigsby Released!
That's another good point, most rookies are smart enough to shut up and eat their corn flakes, happy in the fact that they're getting paid to play football. Better yet if the coach asks you not to play but you're still getting paid.

Kids, pay attention, this is a valid demonstration of the effects of inertia, momentum and crack..

Jace Daniels in this week?
Good, gives something to watch for in the next few games instead of worrying about the score.

Grigsby Released!
Heard this discussion awhile ago on the CJOB pre-game show. They were talking about how Grigsby was having a lot of success early-mid season as an outlet receiver until other teams caught onto it and after that he was basically shut down. I think the stats. back this up, ever since Labour day Grigsby has not caught a lot of balls.

Grigsby Released!
I think Montreal is a more likely destination, if there is any destination for Grigsby. Whittaker is on the 6 game IR and the're down to Sutton..

Jace Daniels in this week?
Obviously this guy has progressed faster than Anderson.

Grigsby Released!
Tell that to Stephen Harper.

Grigsby Released!
Mommy, please tell me again why I can't have a cookie before supper???

Grigsby Released!
Happy to see Suber doing well in T.O., worked out well for both parties in that situation.

Odds and Sods - Winnipeg Blue Turkeys vs Edmonton Eskimoes
I would like to think Wpg. fans are too knowledgeable to ever boo Willy.

Grigsby Released!
Wouldn't be surprised to see the Bombers taking away players Twitter freedom next year to better control "the message".

Grigsby Released!
A team desperate for a back like Hamilton might take a flier on him. Or a team desperate for someone who can catch the ball like Ottawa may use him as a receiver. A team desperate for a back like Hamilton might take a flier on him. Or a team desperate for someone who can catch the ball like Ottawa may use him as a receiver. Haha! Let's hope it's Ottawa! It won't be anybody. I can almost guarantee it, Ottawa has 2 pretty good backs, that williams guy is pretty good and i don't see any other teams picking him up.. who? maybe BC but i doubt it, there oline is as bad as ours. Als are a possibility with Brandon Whittaker on the 6 game.
