Loffler. He plays on the edge. A millisecond from getting objectionable conduct penalties but his timing is perfect. Rookie of the year candidate by far so far.

Around The League Regular Season Discussion
Not to mention the fact of his choice of words. Sorry to have failed the test? Translation: I wish I had cheated better? Seriously speaking, I hope he kicks the habit and becomes a role model for younger football players aspiring to be pro.

See, one can have both, not like the team but feel good about certain players.

2nd chances can be a good thing.

What about Lulay? Overall, isn't there more proven ability with Jennings versus Nichols to consider giving up your number 2 guy. The way Buono seems to find QB's, I would think he would be better off than us if both starters went down and didn't have Lulay or Willy to go to. But maybe Lulay is damaged goods, I don't know.

I love players with enthusiasm and confidence. However, those two (and a few of our guys for that matter ) need to take a lesson from Dressler in what to do after making a standard professional football league catch. Give the ball back to the referee and return to the huddle. If you score, different matter.

Will there be a 2016 playoff Crossover?
But I could also argue the Argos did enough in their division to make it, Edmonton did not.

Will there be a 2016 playoff Crossover?
yup sure does. different division.

Will there be a 2016 playoff Crossover?
I know it's been talked about ad nauseam over the years, but I detest the cross over. It's never felt right to me.

Banjo Bowl
I'm worried about a potential letting up and coming out flat. Hopefully not but sometimes it happens after winning a close game especially a LDC. Also assume a few calls will go Sask's way. Even better if calls go their way and we still crush them. Then what happens to their argument?

Willy vs Nichols After 5 Games
First bold, don't know how you know that. Second bold, you mean college football teams not colleges right? Because there are colleges that offer leadership courses with hope of developing leaders. Not too mention the fact that college football teams more than likely help some young men become leaders whether they mean too or not. That's the great thing about football. Ultimate team sport.

Making the league look bad: item #2837
Trying everything you can do within the cap to retain your solid core players (re Dressler, Chick, Shologan, Smith) even it it means shortchanging something else and rebuilding from there makes more sense to me. But I'm not the mastermind here, Jones is. I'm sure it will all work out. Next year by this time Jones will be doing his 'I told you so' speech.

Willy vs Nichols After 5 Games
This I agree with you. In analyzing human behaviour, there are a lot of arm chair qb's in our midst.

Willy vs Nichols After 5 Games
Right (Although I don't agree with your use of the word wildly) but so is every other science, like medicine for example. You simply can't right it off. You can question and disagree but you can't right it off because of it's limitations. If one does that then be consistent with every other science.

Willy vs Nichols After 5 Games
Not correct. Tier one/two/three Universities teach people how to do it (i.e., qualitative research methods). I can guarantee you NFL teams have people on staff who strictly look at leadership and interpersonal skill sets among their athletes in a very rigorous, systematic and methodical way. As for CFL teams, due to limited resources, not so much.

Willy vs Nichols After 5 Games
The defense is playing better because they believe in Nichols. :-)

Willy vs Nichols After 5 Games
Having the ability to lead is a nebulous concept? People have made careers in studying this issue both sport and non sport.

Official LDC GDT: Game Day, We All Play!
On the Adams no call, his one hand chest grab on jersey is no longer hand fighting, not that I'm complaining. On Cox's, I couldn't tell whether there was a grab.

You gave them three points with THAT kicker?! Sheesh.

Which it has before which makes this win no more no less satisfying because of it.
