Going for 2
I think more for me was the frustration on how easy it was for Ottawa to consistently convert two on us whether it was blown assignments, being beat like a rented mule and/or stupid a$$ penalties.

Around The NHL 2018/2019
Man TS looks good in that Jersey, PL's no slouch either. 🙂

Rate Ritchie Hall's Defense
The defense again did not play well but it doesn't help when they were required to be on the field all night. In this case last night, Team Game, Team Loss.

2018 Matt Nichols
Something no one can get around here. Yes he wasn't good and he needs to play better if he wants to retain starter status but the 11 other guys on the field didn't have the best games of there life either. On occasion a game can be won or lost by a few but that hot mess last night wasn't one of them.

Game Day Thread- Week Ten: Ottawa ALLCAPS @ Winnipeg Blue Bombers August 17, 2018
No it's not. Not one person is responsible for that first half mess. Lots of blame to go around suggests that. At times it can be a few individuals but not this game.

Team game, team responsibility. This game so far has shown that. No one here is to blame, defense, offense or special teams. Win the second half.

Around the League: 2018 Season
I hear what you're saying but the score of the game and who the player is has absolutely no relevancy in compromising how a potential concussion is assessed during a game.

Around the League: 2018 Season
Shocking, a player saying he's fine. See Collaros for most recent example of hiding things and ask Matt Dunnigan. Not to mention the fact that concussions can take time to show effect. Neuroscience kind of thing. There is no argument here. The NHL has it right. He needed to go to a quiet room for further assessment. The hit didn't look bad, it was bad. Err on the side of immediate safety and longer term effect Matthew.

Around the League: 2018 Season
In this day in age, I would be surprised by that. Even so, each team has medical professionals on staff and (should) know the specific steps to follow with a suspected in-game concussion. Sherman is saying there is no way he would have put JM back in if he knew something was wrong. I remember seeing the trainers (and others) working with JM on the sidelines after the hit but why they didn't take him to the quiet room is beyond explanation. Doesn't matter if he was saying the right things on the sidelines or not. Everyone has instant access nowadays to review plays and that specific hit he got blown up and needed to be further assessed.

Don't the Alouettes follow in-game protocol on head injuries. After that hit JM took at the goal line, quiet room was needed. Where were the spotters in this game? What a hot mess.

If this is in fact true, I'm more baffled because doing up his chin strap is for his safety, nothing more, nothing less. Remind me not to have in my car and ask him to do up his seatbelt.

Regular Season Bomber News & Discussion
As I don't follow the Winnipeg media closely, has he been clear with shedding his NFL aspirations?

Duron Carter Kicked Off The Farm
Bigger picture, his behaviour/attitude needs work for sure but he's good for the league imo, gets people talking about the CFL, grows interest. Hope he signs on with another CFL team just not ours although MOS would be someone that could help him but too much risk to take on.

Confidence my friend, confidence. And yes, he probably could still play at a high level but he's also way too smart to even entertain that.

3 stars plus hh tigernaughts sack party
This game with Randle was interesting, great coverage, horrible ball awareness.

Next Game vs Hamilton - Revenge Is In Order
I would also add it really shows what kind of team player they are. Is it 'palms up arms up, wtf' or 'we'll get the next one'.

Tiger Cats @ Larks
He showed glimpses of what he could do but Matt Dunnigan was bang on. As a QB you fully learn the Defense first before even thinking Offense. It showed on his first throw how right Matt Dunnigan was.

Als About To Drop Willy & Matthews? Manziel Now An Al
I actually hope he does well here that might influence other elite football athletes on the bubble of cracking a starting NFL roster to think a bit more seriously about starting/having a pro career in the CFL instead of sitting on a practice roster in the NFL. I know the salary thing but one can dream.
