  1. Well absolutely. The stats suggest he's by far the best kick returner in CFL history and we know that's simply just not true. How ever he's definitely done more then a decent job out there, and the numbers back that up.
  2. **Ryan Lankford leads the CFL in kickoff returns with 550 yards in just 4 games, on pace for a season total of 2,475 which would easily surpass the CFL record set by Ian Smart of BC in 2008 of 1,805 yards. The Blue Bombers record is 1,695 by Eric Blount set in 1998. Lankford is #2 in combined yards at 778, a pace that would take him over 3,500 yards. So much for the narrative of Lankford being a terrible returner..
  3. Nichols in 4 games. 8 TD's 4 INT's Durant in 5 games. 6 TD's 6 INT's
  4. How is Durant a better QB then Nichols at this point in their career? Don't get me wrong I love me some DD but he's lost a step or two from his prime playing days. I'd take Nichols any day.
  5. Won't happen in the middle of the season. The problem is who replaces them? You need time to implement a scheme, and get the players comfortable with it. It's funny over the the Rider board I constantly hear posters over there calling Lapo and Hall two of the best cordinators in the league.
  6. Can't take Montreal lightly. They did beat Calgary after all. If we play the way we have in the 1st, and 4th all season we probably won't come out of this game with a W
  7. Sean Paul? wasn't he big once for like a few months in 2004.. I doubt anyone who wasn't attending the game would go just to see Sean Paul.
  8. I think Collaros has a case of the "Drew Willy's" when you get hit repeatedly over and over again you develop happy feet in the pocket and it messes up your mechanics and your accuracy, not to mention the mental aspect of it. Collaros has never thrown more then 9 INT in a season ( keep in mind he's never been completely healthy) but he has 4 already in 4 games. These things are hard to over come because once its in your head mentally it will always be there.
  9. No running back likes sharing the load! I can tell you from experience. But if Harris still gets his touches in a running back/SB hybrid like a Durie I'm sure he won't have an issue with it. Gotta get Harris 20 plus touches a game. Gotta get and keep him in his groove.
  10. RedBlacks beat Montreal last week. Should be a good game though. I took a tie on my proline.
  11. Remember when we were 1-4 year and finished 11-7. Remember that year we went to the Grey Cup against B.C and they won? Yeah they started that season 0-5. We lost a game by a hair to one of the best teams in the league and everyone is so doom and gloom. Is there areas to improve on? Absolutely. Do our best players need to play better? 100 percent. But all this negative attitude after four games is a bit much. After years of terrible starts, a revolving door of QB's, and head coaches, I'm glad we have a stable core that can compete day in and day out.
  12. We gotta have that must win mentality. BC, Edmonton, and Calgary are establishing themselves as the top tier teams in the league. We need to win these types of games if we're going to stay on pace and keep up. No excuses to come out flat against Montreal.
  13. It was a stat line based on the reciever making "deemed" difficult catches. I was a beer or two in so I don't remember exactly.
  14. I agree but Darvin Adams should of had that deep ball that was perfectly thrown in the 4th. If he hangs on to that we likely win the game. I saw the stat line and Matt Nichols gets the least amount of help from his receivers on "tough" catches in the league. Sometimes the playmakers need to bring it down. I mean 3 TD's, 1 rushing TD, and 42 points of offense should be enough to win most games, our defense was awful.
  15. The defense that allowed 45 points??! I'm not entirely sure what game you're watching.
  16. HM: Thomas Miles was a beast on the teams today. Besides that first kick off Rainey was held in check.
  17. Darvin Adams making that one handed catch in the end zone effortlessly. THIS is the Darvin Adams I wanted to see. He's come to play tonight.
  18. 11/13 for 110 yards with 2 TD's and 0 INT's yeah total embarrassment.. Not the defense that's getting carved up
  19. You could care less about the past but you keep bringing it up. You guys have been terrible in the past three years, and your QB is an almost 40 Kevin Glenn, and your best DB is a past his prime Jovon Johnson. Your team is pretty far away from competing.. Beating a winless ti cats team does nothing to change that.
  20. If you think 4 Grey Cups in a century is an achievement I don't know what to tell you. enjoy another season in the basement!
  21. One win and Rider fans act like their team hasn't been a total joke for the past three seasons.
  22. Probably my favourite game I ever went to was the 2002 Western semi finals against the BC Lions. I was eleven years old at the time and my uncle scored seats at i believe the 40 yard line second row.. Not only did the Bombers hammer the Lions 30-3 I remember losing my voice joining in the chant "BC sucks!" Moral of the story is.. BC sucks
  23. I dislike the Riders but always respected Darian Durant. Show him some respect, especially if you're a Rider fan. He did nothing wrong.. Jones didn't want him anymore. He was always a heart and soul guy. He's responsible for a quarter of the Riders grey cups in their franchise history and led them to two more.. Not bad for a Rider
  24. Two medicore teams. Sure both teams can move the ball, but their defenses, and special teams leave a lot to be desired. Really like Harris think he's a good QB. Powell runs really tough and shifty. Also think we really could use a guy like Nik Lewis on our roster as a 4/5 option he's still really sure handed, knows how to find that sweet spot in the zone.
