2023/2024 CFL (Non Bombers) Off Season News
Good deal for Dru. Nothing but respect for him. Whether it was coming in and driving the Bombers for a game winning drive against Ottawa or coming from behind and beating Edmonton, I will always have fond memories of his play here in Winnipeg. The kid always to me had a pro ready arm. He could make those cross field throws with ease but this year I noticed the game started to slow down for him and his decision making really improved. Sad to see him go but not expected. He’s earned the opportunity to be a starter in the league.

2023/2024 CFL (Non Bombers) Off Season News
Great point, how often do we cut guys before bonuses are due? Almost never. Loyalty is a two way street and its reasons like that why guys are willing to take a little less to build the best team possible.

Best cover DB in the CFL as far as I’m concerned! Glad to have him for two more years.

I’m a huge Bomber Homer but I don’t understand why it’s not in Montreal. They deserve that privilege.

Retaining Walters was single handedly the most important move of the of season.

Which Vets do we cut next season
I don’t want to hear the D word. I think that’s part of the problem. I can appreciate the accomplishments for sure but that’s now two years in a row we lost as heavy favourites in similar fashion by getting punched in the teeth and out worked by a team that wanted it more.

2023/2024 Blue Bombers Off-Season Thread (BRADY’S BACK! DALTON’S BACK!)
I would be okay moving on from a large portion of these players, and re tool. Being stuck with a roster that hasn’t been good enough to get the job done for the past two years and is only going to get older and rake up a larger portion of the cap to me is the wrong move. We still have a talented enough core to build around but we need to bring in some fresh blood. It was nice a lot of guys have taken discounts to try and get the job done with this current group of players but it’s time to retool on the fly.

Which Vets do we cut next season
I hated the reclaim the throne theme, reminded me too much of unfinished business!

Call it what you want … you need to move on from Collaros
I would consider getting rid of the following, Collaros, Neufeld, have a talk about Bryant/Hardrick taking pay cuts, Jeffcoat, Thomas, Bighill, Rose, and Alexander. Now I’m not talking about getting rid of all those guys but there has to be some tough discussions and we have to get younger and cheaper, we have some younger guys looking for raises, and that will have to come at the expense of some of those players..

CFL Award Nominee Finalists
Chad Kelly won MOP award. What a joke. Oh well hopefully just a little extra motivation from the guys to bring home the trophy that truly counts on Sunday.

East Final GDT - Argonauts vs Alouettes
Agreed. Lemon is the one I’m sad that got away. Apparently he wanted to be here and we most certainly could have used him in rotation, he was great for Montreal this season.

Grey Cup - Game Week Thread
I love this matchup for us. He simply cannot make those cross field throws. Our D is going to make life miserable for Cody and he’s not going to get the benefit of 9 turnovers against us.

2023 CFL ALL STAR Fan Selections
It would be harder to find people on this board that post regularly who aren’t more knowledgeable then him, I never really had anything against him but yeah he has some really outlandish takes.

2023 CFL ALL STAR Fan Selections
“Vastly superior” what a ****** bag comment to make regardless, not to mention an absolutely terrible list. Wouldn’t be surprised if it’s done on purpose for click bait.

Not a single Rider, but they just extended their general manager for three years.. NICE!

CFL - 2023 Regular Season - Discussion Thread
Not only Kelly but I can put my blue and gold goggles aside and concede that Houston being a CFL all star is a joke when he’s arguably our fourth, or fifth best DB on our roster..

Week of BC Lions at Winnipeg - Western Final Edition
We’re 8-0 this year going to games together! Only game we missed was the June 22nd game..

Week of BC Lions at Winnipeg - Western Final Edition
Me and my girl are doing a sober November, we just had so much going on at the tail end of the summer, that I committed to do this with her, we have our tickets to the western finals, and the idea of being In the cold, sober isn’t too appealing to me! Oh well.. the things you do for love!

Blue Bombers - 2023 Regular Season - Discussion Thread
Talk about roster management all you want but this is really where O’Shea shines. This is an incredible achievement, and really this is the difference in sone of those tight games, staying disciplined, and not taking bad penalties. I’ve seen very few stupid, and retaliation penalties on the Blue Bombers since Mike O’Shea has been head coach.

3 stars plus hh turning cowtown info browntown
I liked the way Augustine played yesterday. He ran for some tough yards. He has a reputation as being a fast runner who goes down quick. I think we’re in good hands if we ever need him.

Not to mention so many tackles like 10-20 yards down the field. Congrats!

Winnipeg Versus the Ponies Aka Battle of the Reserves GDT
Even if that’s true. What could we offer Brown? He’ll at the very worst get 1 B money else where.

Winnipeg Versus the Ponies Aka Battle of the Reserves GDT
If Arbuckle got 32 chances to become a starter teams will be looking at Brown. Remember the Bombers post Kevin Glenn era? It was rough and we were desperate for many years. All those teams you mentioned Brown would instantly be the best QB on their roster

Betts will win but their run D is absolutely terrible. Rushing the quarterback is only one part of the job.

Lawler motivated to get to his 2000 yard goal so doesn’t surprise me.
