2023 pf: 32.69 pa: 20.23 2022 pf: 29.88 pa: 20.55 The stats say we are better this year, do you not remember last year we had several games early on that could have gone either way but we managed to pull through, perhaps even undeservingly? I for one do not think the sky is falling. I’ll take this years O any day over last season. We have a better version of Brady, and Lawler.

Maybe we’ll see a pissed of Haba who plays so well they have no choice but to keep him on the roster. I don’t want to see this guy on the PR ever again.

Walters has done a masterful job over the years with the cap, something he really doesn’t get enough credit for.

Until there’s an injury. Let’s face it. He’s the 6th best receiver on this roster, he’s a good player and could be a down field threat which could be useful but he isn’t going to play over the guys we have now.

He’s a gun slinger that’s what he does. He likes to push the ball down field, and moves around the pocket to create time. Most of the time it looks great, especially when his receivers are helping him make plays, sometimes he makes a bad play. Live by the sword, die by the sword, he’s not going to be a game managing QB and quite frankly I would never expect him to be.

I’ve been to all three of those games with my new girl friend. Our first date together was actually the first game against B.C there. It’s been a really fun experience as a fan.

I’ve been defending O’Shea as much as possible but this move is just un excusable. Very frustrated by this.

Our short yardage package was so dominating last year. We were routinely getting 3-6 yards on our second/third and short that we could afford to keep the defense honest by going deep, but when we don’t have that same push we can’t always afford to be as aggressive.

We could use a short yard QB just saying 😉

I’m really excited to see more Habba hopefully. Guy is an absolute monster. He’s a star player waiting to break out. Reminds me a little bit of Phillip Hunt.

We really miss Grant but there’s no excuse not to atleast have another capable returner out there. It’s been bad.

Yeah I don’t know what happened to the ST but also when was the last time the Bombers tricked a fake punt or field goal? I know you can’t use it all the time but when O’Shea first came to the Bombers his ST gimmicks kept us in a lot of games, now we can’t cover kickoffs/punts, we don’t have a capable returner besides Grant, there’s no creativity, and really we’re quite lucky we were able to get Castillo because he’s been one of the few bright spots on ST, otherwise this unit as a whole has been very different then some point past O’Shea coached teams.

Funny how the Rider fans have this weird obsession and conspiracy theory that the refs favour the Bombers for some reason. Almost every game day thread there they talk about it. Jealous much. But in all fairness when we had some lousy teams I know there was a lot of talk about how the refs were never on our side haha! Funny how that works.

Okay and you guys were 4-14 back to back years in 2018 and 2019. What’s your point exactly? How is that relevant to the team now?

Pretty embarrassing I can find my beer league hockey stats from 2008 but have a hard time finding stats from previous CFL seasons.

That o-line in 05 was absolutely horrible as well. Who knows what could have been. Getting Khan and St.Germaine in the disposal draft from Ottawa really helped turn around our offence the following season but that was tough to see Tee Martin just get smacked around on every play.

Nothing against Tyrell Ford but it’s still crazy to me that Ford got an NFL opportunity but Schoen couldn’t even catch on with an NFL squad. Oh well, I’m perfectly okay with another year of dominance through the air.

The Bombers did a few things that off season that would really shape the current culture that we have today. Taking the intern tag off of Walters and bringing in Danny Mac and Ted Goveia ended up being huge moves that paid off in the long term. I thought Walters getting Chris Randle and the 26th pick for the 24th pick was high way robbery. Randle was really a bright spot on some bad Bomber defences during those first couple of season of the current regime.

I can’t wait until we play Toronto again. They’re completely overrated.

Well I’m not going to lie I’ve seen the difference between a girl that watches football because it’s important to you and a girl that legitimately loves football and watches it with you. Both are perfectly fine but I have to admit it’s really nice.

I’m not really concerned. Zach is a gun slinger. Sure he had two pick 6’s which isn’t good but he also threw for 4 TD passes. You take the good with the bad. He’s never been shy to push the ball down the field, and will always take a chance and let his receiver make a play.

In my opinion he’s getting better every single game; he’s always been a tough in between the tackles kind of runner but he’s been legitimately using his speed to beat guys now, I’ve never seen him so explosive. I always thought of him as Harris light, but he’s really paving his own legacy. He’s been great.
