The personal insults towards him months later became ridiculous. Im not the only one who found this place getting far too negative. Mike, you used to be a huge Buck fan. I'm a Buck fan but I supported going in a different direction last season.

Buck had much-needed shoulder surgery so he could be rejuvenated next season. Might look good as the Bombers starter. Lots of experience there.

The D has been awful. And it's not Pavs. It would be nice if he stole games but you cant rely on that. He *has* been inconsistant but the D is as much if not more to blame than Pavs. Buff has been dreadful and *should* be traded (I never thought I'd feel that way but its true).

There was some positive comments about Buck when he was basically assisting Crowton. I believe it was said he's got a future as a coach. He also said he sees himself coaching one day. I'm not sure he's ready to retire and if he keeps playing I wish nothing but success and good health for him. As a person of rather he retire and not risk further brain trauma. But he's a good guy, a good QB.

There is nothing mean-spirited or even negative about caring and having an opinion about who your team tabs to coach the most important position on its roster. Nope I didn't say there was. But there are people who are very personal and insulting when discussing players and/of coaches on here. It's just needed.

Why? Because posters don't want a less-than stellar former QB to be our QB coach just because he's a good guy and pays a mortgage in WPG? Did I say this thread had become negative? No the forum has. Maybe because there is so little happening right now. But when the talk is football and it's respectful this is the best forum there is.

Netflix will be streaming 4K by February. If the TV manufacturers are smart (and Netflix), they work together. The more 4k content Netflix has, the more likely people will be to buy those TVs.

Weird that the flu is taking down healthy people but not sick or elderly.

CNN (I think) had a recent article about technologies that would soon disappear and Blu Ray was one of them. Im not sure I buy that. The reasoning was, movies will all be streamed. Personally, I like owning movies and all the extras that come with them. If you're into movies, there is a certain pride that comes with the collection. On another note, Best Buy had a 4k display going and it was amazing. I would have bought one on the spot but I want size, price and available content to all come together before I do. But what a fabulous image.

if they have a lot of wide differences, one would suspect Mike would not hire Marshal. Im torn. I like the idea of getting a young, dynamic guy. But who knows what kind of DC he will be. With Marshal, you know what you're getting. Is it a flashy, aggresive style we all love? No. But he's been successful. He's very experienced. Does anyone know what we could expect with Miles?
