Training Camp 2018
Even if he is out 5-7 weeks it's not that bad. Better to get hurt early than late.

Training Camp 2018
When he bounced off that LB who hit the line running downhill, that really impressed me. I don't know who the LB was, but he smacked him hard enough to knock most RB over for sure. I couldn't believe he stayed on his feet. I'm surprised he's here to be honest. Seems like a guy who could contribute on some team. Glad he made the right choice to sign here though!!

Around the League: 2018 Season
Assuming he comes back and can still perform. This is a big signing for that team.

I'm glad he got cut. Was beat a few times on Friday. Randles play got him that int...and if Reilly is playing that was a Td rather than a knockdown.

It feels a lot long than 5 years ago.

I think there's a good chance Ross doesn't make this team. I don't think Mahoney will either so maybe Ross is given a pr spot.

Yup agree Booch, thought he looked poised out there. Made good reads and got the ball out quick when he needed too. I honestly thought Ross made the right reads as well, just had a hard time delivering the ball. Too many nerves maybe

3 stars +hh first pre season edition
Nevis certainly looked like he's trying to prove something. If he can keep that level of play up, he's not going anywhere. Was really surprised by the speed of the D. rallied to the ball really fast. And solid tackling. Streveler, what can you say. Perfect day except that fumble. Absolutely the surprise of pre season so far. Quick feet too. Will be interesting to see how he develops.

Game Day: Edmonton @ Winnipeg (Pre-Season) June 1, 2018
Sure it was a preseason game, against a bunch of likely to not make the team players. However, the bombers did exactly what they were supposed to. They executed and dominated (with the exception of the first few plays) all night long. That's exactly what I wanted to see and exactly what we should have excepted out of a team that should be ready for the next step.

I'm fairly certain it was against a RB and not a lineman but it was still amazing.

Training Camp 2018
Keep in mind that it's preseason. They will be playing a pretty base D, as will the esks. But I am looking forward to seeing match ups on both the lines. And seeing what kind of plays if any the DBs can make.

Around the League: 2018 Season
You're right. A rider was the only one dumb enough to get caught in the CFL. I'm sure plenty of athletes cheat. The dumb ones get caught and have to pay a price. That's not what I was arguing. I was trying to explain that Thigpens cheating is much more meaningful (for lack of a better term) because he was actively playing on a team and then (one could argue) was one play away from going to the championship game in that league. Where as Simonise was still trying to win a spot on a team, and hadn't played a single regular season game, never mind a playoff game. Hence: Thigpens cheating had a lot more of a positive effect on his overall team/league, than Simonise. Guessing as to whether or not either of them would have continued if they didn't get caught is not a part of the original comparison...however it's likely safe to say that yes they would have. So, to clarify - your comparison of the two, while on the surface is very similar. When you actually look at each case. They are quit different in terms of the effect their cheating actually had. Again, in case you are still not understanding, Thigpens had a greater effect compared to Simonise. Both were stupid. One was slightly more stupid.

You honestly can't see a difference? Siminose certainly broke a rule while trying to make a roster/in preseason. Paid for it, and has started over. Thigpen, broke a rule while playing in the playoffs. They both broke rules and will pay for it. One did it while playing in the playoffs last year, the other did it the preseason in a different league, 2 years ago. Just take the green goggles off for a second and use your smrts.

Friday June 1st Edmonton here
Oh lame! I thought I heard both bomber games were going to be televised. Maybe I made that up, cause I'll be able to see both games this year as I'll be there on Friday.

TSN will be broadcasting. So you can watch via them online, or might be able to find something on Reddit.

I honestly don't think Duron plays D this year. He's just to valuable of a REC. If he does it will be great news for every other team and as an oc I'd run sweets his way as much as possible and let him try to take on some hogs.

Around the League: 2018 Season
I'd be concerned with 3 if not 4 of their starters too. Messam had a fall off last year and suffered a concussion. Brouillette and hurl....a big ol MEH. Can Evans be consistent in a new system? Oh yeah and Bagg isn't getting any younger.

TSN Panel Changes
Totally agree on Brown. He's one of the reasons I've started listening to 1290 more. Just say what you gotta say and be done with it! I'm not a big fan of Sanchez even on his CFL/TSN interwebs show (not sure what it was called). Maybe he will improve on TV.
