I hear ya. But in Hamilton, there was no way "the greatest player to ever play in the CFL" wasn't going to be at least 2nd string. In SSK he wasn't going to beat out Glenn, but maybe something to be said for not beating out Bridge. But again. He did get a shot in MTL for a bit, but that was such a bad team he never stood a chance. And I can't remember where else he has been to be honest. I just feel like he hasn't been given a decent opportunity. Maybe there's a reason for it.

Wondering how they use Legget on D or if they do at all and just let him do returns for the first game.

I really hope Adams can be brought in. He hasn't really had a solid chance to develop anywhere except MTL....and that was MTL so not exactly an ideal situation. I'd rather have him than Gale or Ross to be honest.

Yeah anytime I've had an issue, at least one person has been super drunk. I'm also older now and have kids, so consequences are a lot more serious both legal and physical which has made me a lot more calm when interacting with other fans. Also now that Cannabis is legal I'm dreaming of a day where I get to watch a game at IGF while sipping on a cannabis beverage!!

That's the thing, you're going to take away arguably the leagues best rec. so he can play mediocre DB? There's no one else out there you could find? Just doesn't make sense to me. And what if Carter gets hurt in this game? Who is going to replace him? And then you have weakened your REC core significantly. Man just a strange move IMO.

It's the same with every board. I've gone there and read over and over about how poorly the rider fans get treated at IGF, even some posters bringing up stories that were actually made up (little girl getting beer poured on her head). Acting like no rider fans could possibly be that rude. I've had death threats walking from mosaic. I've been called everything under sun there as well. Some times I deserved it, others I did nothing and it was just some ******. Moral of the story, don't go to other teams websites etc and expect to be treated nicely by every single person. Also don't take shitty treatment by some and turn it into an "ALL" those fans are ****.

Yeah I'm not sure how much I buy into that. People are switching teams all the time. This sort of thing isn't new. As much as I hate the riders I don't think there's much to that story.

Exactly right, and what happened was they started a rookie QB who was playing in a thunderstorm against the reigning MOP as well as one of the top MLBs in the league and they lost on a last second field goal. Not too bad given the circumstances.

Yup, last year the bombers were playing so so football. It was that montreal come back that really turned it on and that was in week...4? I think anyway. Losing is no fun, but a week one loss isn't a season ending disaster. Especially when it's a loss like the one last night.

I actually disagree. Harris had some decent holes to run through. And Streveler got happy feet, for no real reason. There were a few times where he had plenty of time to thow but you could see him bouncing around and then he'd take off. Nerves most likely.

Just to clarify, the field goal debacle was due to the wet field. The tip of the ball was placed on the ground and then it slipped back. Was a bobble or bad snap. Just shitty luck. I actually thought Medlock made a great play by not kicking it and giving Ross a chance to make a play.

I'm not too concerned about the big plays...defence was in the right spot. Just gotta make the play. I didn't like that long drive at the end. ******* slant in....slant in slant in...get up in their face!!! Poor clock management and play calling on defence. They couldn't afford to let the esks slowly go down the field and drain the clock for their rookie QB.
