Pre-Season Game 2 - Winnipeg @ Saskatchewan - Tuesday May 31
Prukop looks and runs and plays like LeFevour... not sure if that is a good or bad thing. He may of saved his bacon with his 4th quarter play but earlier on yeesh looked terrible and it was on him. Brown looked like he was executing the offense in a far more structured manner.

The Winnipeg Thread
Rumors will have to tread lightly as cancelling comedians is a slippery slope. Nearly every comedian is offensive to one group of people.

Bringing in an American receiver who was mediocre and was cut among the first cuts?? Why?

Pre-Season Game 1 - L(k)'s at Blue Bombers (maybe, maybe not, we'll see)
On the post game show they said that he went home because of the uncertainty of the league playing (he is 30 with a family) and they said that the team expects him back.

It would be nice to see them play, it's easy to think certain guys are awesome because they get a TD or recover a fumble... radio however doesn't show how some guys are way out of position or unsung guys who were wide open but weren't looked at.

Winnipeg Blue Bombers TC 2022
How does a guy who was given one last chance at continuing his pro career get himself into this situation within a week of arriving in town. You would think he would be focused on winning a job rather then picking up young women at a bar.

I think for the last 15 years of going on here (and Ourbombers) that every pre season camp SOMEBODY looks fantastic and awesome... only for them to be cut and the folks on here to be shocked that he didn't make it but some no name other person has. I'm assuming Saunders was cut because he's older and the others showed as much (or if not more) and the new guys have a much higher ceiling without a history of injuries.- 2022 NHL Playoffs
Rob Brown was super talented but just a lazy and under sized player. Dude scored like 150 points in the AHL.- Winnipeg Blue Bombers TC 2022
Brink was mobile (not a burner) and he ran for his life numerous times. But as you had pointed out so many of his throws skipped off the ground before hitting the legs of the receiver.- 2021/22 - CFL Offseason - Non-Back-to-Back Grey Cup Champion Thread
Winnipeg is a dump and Edmonton is a dump, either way the guy could be classy and talk about how he enjoyed the passion from the fans and not take a shot at the city.- 2021/22 - CFL Offseason - Non-Back-to-Back Grey Cup Champion Thread

Not really he had 15 sacks and 16 sacks in Saskatchewan .... last year he disappeared.- Covid-19

Famous Dave's from my experiences has degraded both in quality and quantity over the last three or so years. We've found the place to also be really quiet with only a few tables with people and the service has been really sub par. It is good however for catering, we've used them a few times for the kids birthday parties and it's always been a hit. I wonder if Bigg Smoak were to go closer to downtown that it could fill the void of Lovey's closing up shop? Back in the day Lovey's was almost always busy and had a tonne of people getting take out also. Either way the city needs more places for Brisket and Pulled Pork! - Winnipeg Blue Bombers TC 2022
