how about Kyle Walters just does what every other GM in the league can do and find some pass catchers on his own from the states? There's only about a million of them down there. If they are that easy to find EVERY NFL team would have "perfect" pass catchers. Most NFL worth their weight have at least one star receiver who can be dominate. The same goes for CFL teams. Arcenaux (spelling?) Walker, Rogers, Roosevelt (SSK? I think that's his name) TO has a plethora along with Ott/Ham. Maybe the only two teams that don't are Montreal and WPG. I would say SJ Green falls into the star receiver category.

Well that does it for me. I would expect that Leo is going to give up his private jets and his wild supermodel parties and live like a monk now, given what he saw happening in Calgary. I mean, warm winds are coming in and melting snow in the middle of winter. The world is definitely ending. The problem with trying to go more "real" (at least in terms of in ring action) is that people know what real looks like, thanks to the UFC. When they try incorporating moves from mma, it looks terrible (Undertaker's gogoplata is a perfect example) and brings it back to the realm of being a parody.

Friesen is also aware that there's a new drug policy on the way for the CFL so other than to take a shot at the league/team, what's the point of bringing that up?

Why wouldn't they sign a guy with NFL-caliber skills? Even if it's not our most pressing need, they should be trying to improve any chance they get.

lol why? Craig Smith is horrible. The only team that has brought in worse talent than us import wise over the past number of years. I've heard he's quite good on the Canadian side... perhaps my sources were incorrect... I forget where I read it... Maybe here?

If replacing his 2 points over the last 10 games is a problem, then the Jets are in trouble. Don't get me wrong, I'm a fan of Ehlers but he's being out produced by Thorburn right now. We're only talking a couple weeks (he'd miss 6-8 games) so I'd put Armia in for him. Injuries happen. I'd feel no different if he got injured in practice, an NHL game or at the WJC. You can't plan for something like that. Besides, I'd say, given his size, an injury is more likely to occur playing against grown men in the NHL than against a bunch of teenagers.

I'd let him go. His confidence seems to be down right now so why not let him go light it up at the WJC to build it back up?

I'm with Rogers and as much as I dislike them, I can't complain about my service with them. I'm with them for a few reasons that probably don't apply to most people: 1) My corporate plan is much cheaper than anything out there (as far as similar plans go). To get a comparable plan with MTS, it means paying an extra 50% each month and getting less data/minutes/features. 2) I'm out of province a fair bit so I need coverage outside of Manitoba and that's where I've heard MTS suffers a little (no idea if that's actually true though). 3) If I was to go with MTS, I'd want to bundle all my services but they still do not offer TV service in my immediate area of the city because of the way they set up their system (I'm basically a couple streets "out of range").

I don't want us to roll the Dyce on Bob. Yeah, I know.... Position coach, sure. OC no way. I'd love Dyce back here for Special Teams coach. But I wouldnt mind C.Dickenson or Kilam here too... whoever becomes available. Dickenson apparently will either follow Jones or hook up with his brother in Calgary. If he goes to Calgary, Penton says Kilam would likely wind up in BC or Toronto.

Bilukidi is the better bet to be here next year. He's had a few workouts since getting cut but nobody has signed him. Mulumba is on the last year of his contract and wants to stay in Green Bay but he's been a healthy scratch quite a bit this season so I guess there's an outside chance for him too.

If that makes him an actor, then his fight with Brazzeau must make him a boxer too right? I'm not saying that Trudeau has the resume that Harper does, but you keep making leaps from something in his past directly to where he now so it works both ways.
