Wins do factor in for me but I also look at the losses. If we got manhandled in those losses it'd be one thing, but 2 losses by a total of 5 points is another. We could/should easily be 4-0 and there would be no doubt. I won't even compare NFL teams with CFL teams. Yes both leagues have caps but they are significantly different. There's way less player movement in the NFL so you do see more dynasty-like teams (Chiefs & Pats for example). Just looking at the CFL, it's absolutely a dynasty, IMO, otherwise you wouldn't need to go back 45 plus years to find the last example of this kind of success.

To do what this team has done iover the past 5 years is absolutely worthy of being called a dynasty. It's unprecedented in the salary cap era and we've already set an all-time mark that will be extremely hard to beat. No team had ever been to 4 consecutive GC's with the same starting QB and now Zach is about to add his 5th.

It's supposed to be based on the regular season only but I hope their over-hyped asses miss out on all of them!

Lots to pick from in this game. The offense and defense both brought their A game tonight. 1) Zach - he had been (deservedly) criticized for his post-season play over the last few seasons but was lights out tonight. 2) Holm - he hadn't looked as good this year as he did last year but had his best game of the season. 3) Kramdi - like Holm, he was a man on a mission tonight and made multiple big plays. HH - Lawler for making a fool of the Riders "all-star" secondary.

Can somebody remind me how many all stars the Riders had again?

Yep, we lose and he's not on the active roster or IR, then he's a FA. I'd expect to see a lot of these moves for guys they want to keep around.

Especially when Ambrosie had pretty much said that 2019 would be the last time they host one at McMahon.

They had Woods (as well as BA & Wilson) listed as questionable so I'm just saying it's not a suprise. He went out twice in the last game. Clearly the D-Line is not our focus this game (god knows why - it needs all the help it can get) so I guess they felt it wasn't worth rostering him.

Woods is still banged up so I get that but taking Adams and Cole out, I do not understand.

I would have given Isaac Adeyemi-Berglund the nod over Willie but he also had a much better surrounding cast to work with. D-Line stats (not just at DE) were way down from last year so nobody really stood out I guess. Yup, last year there were 7 guys with double digit sacks - numbers were way down this year.

I love Willie but I'm not sure how he got selected as a league all-star this year other than name recognition.

It was before Doman took over but after Braley died. Whether they had the money or not, they weren't paying Reilly what he was owed in his contract so he filed a grievance.

They couldn't even afford to pay Reilly! He had to file a grievance against them before they re-worked his contract less than a year after signing him to a massive deal. You would think they'd have learned something since then but it would appear that is not the case.

The community on this site pre-dates the team-run forum. Most of us have been talking football on this board (and ourbombers.com before that) for close to 20 years (just guessing) so why would we stop? RF is not an official team site but if the Riders decided to create a message board tomorrow, do you think RF would just cease to exist? I don't know how that other forum is these days but for me, when it started, I found it was overly-moderated - I know a few people who were banned or had posts deleted just for being (justifiably) critical of the team. It turned me off from that forum and I never went back. Rich and the crew have done a great job (imo) of creating a forum where you can speak your mind freely. You might get called out on your opinion by other posters, but you won't get the ban hammer undeservedly. Just my 2 cents.

Healthy according to who? There were guys deemed healthy enough to play last year and clearly weren't. It could be a comparable situation but we wouldn't know until we see them on the field.
