2021 Blue Bombers Training Camp/Pre-Season Stuff
I don't recall him being a great blocker, but that's about my only complaint so far. I thought he ran the ball well. Imo, Harris' blocking and experience in knowing where to be as a safety outlet for the qb would be the two hardest things to replace if he got hurt.

The TV Thread
I've only ever seen a handful of Big Bang Theory episodes. Way too sitcom-y for me. The laugh track is out of control. I'd highly recommend you watch a few episodes of Arrested Development. That, along with Seinfeld & 30 Rock, are my three favourite sitcoms ever.

Agreed. Too bad Tocchet isn't still coaching there.

Bombers Signings
Love it! If he's anything close to what he was his last season in Edmonton, he'll be one #1 receiver for sure.

Deleted. I just saw Mark H posted the same stat on the prior page.

2021 CFL Free Agency
That's seems unfair. He would be ineligible to win ROTY, but they can still call him a rookie to keep his salary down.

Texier is a good young player, but he shouldn't be a first line centre yet.

2021 (??) CFL Season
Darren Cameron @Darren_Cameron · 41s #Bombers announce the team has traded centre Cody Speller to Toronto, along with the 52nd overall selection in the 2021 CFL Draft, in exchange for the 48th overall pick. Speller was a pending free agent in a couple of weeks.

I'm not sure I trust VA. He had some great games, but overall was just meh, imo. Really **** the bed in the playoffs.

Random Jets News
Gotta love our size and skill at centre now. PLD won't score like Laine, but it's not like we lack the talent to score without him. PLD's all-around game is better than Laine's, and he plays a more important position. His fancy stats are very good too, for people who care about that.

Bombers Signings
I read somewhere that Speller is expected to go to Toronto. We still have very good depth, though.

Game 4 : @ Senators
Not sure it's Heinola love as much as it's a desire to get Niku out of the lineup. Heinola looked much better last year, as an 18 year old, than Niku did this season. Small sample size for sure, but imo he deserves playing time more than Niku does.

2021 (??) CFL Season
I 100% agree with this point. Plus Harris' drug test. Maybe I misunderstood the argument. I'm saying I'd rather have Fajardo now.
-
2021 (??) CFL Season
I would take Fajardo over Nichols. There's certainly no "Nichols derangement syndrome" for me. I liked him when he was here, and thought we could have won a Cup with him. He was never the beneficiary of defensive performances like Collaros got in the 2019 playoffs. I know this is a Bomber board, but I'm surprised how many people don't just not like Fajardo, but think he's terrible. He had a very good season. Hopefully he's a one-hit wonder and doesn't do it again.

Game 4 : @ Senators
Move had to be made. Niku was terrible. He's so soft in our zone.

I'd like to see somebody new do it. Not a fan of Paul Edmonds.

Around The NHL 2019/2020
I think we should trade for Gourde from TB. We could get him for next to nothing b/c they have big cap problems, and imo he could be our 2nd line centre. He had 64 points two years ago when he was playing higher in their lineup. We'd have him for the next five seasons. His cap hit is a little high, but not crazy, and it runs out when he's only 33.

Around The NHL 2019/2020
I can't imagine Philly would consider trading Provorov. I think Frost, one of Myers or Sanheim, and a pick (1st with Myers, 2nd with Sanheim) would be fair. Myers is a lefty, but we're not exactly loaded on that side of the ice either. It would work well if we got Demelo signed.

The old operations manager did. I found out later though that he's a **** too, so maybe that doesn't mean much lol. (I'm friends with his ex-wife)

I coach both flag and tackle football against Miller. He's kind of a **** there, too...

Qualifier : Game 1
I've always found this funny. A guy could get absolutely filled in, but if he manages to pull the other guy down the crowd will cheer like he won.

Qualifier : Game 1
It's hard to say what Tkachuk's plan was. At best it was incredibly reckless.

Qualifier : Game 1
One for one sure, but it's nice to have a mix of both in the group.

Least favourite non-Bomber
Has anybody mentioned Carl Kidd yet? He and Ayanbadejo were pretty unlikable in the early 2000s. Remember when they called out Sellers before the 2003 playoffs, only to get run over in the game? That was fun.
