2022 CFL Free Agency(Rumors/official signings)
I agree. We've retained more of our top guys than I thought we would.

Not very often do you see the Grey Cup champs win FA the following year.

2022 CFL Free Agency(Rumors/official signings)
I can't remember who, but I follow somebody on twitter who does weekly stats for CFL dbs. He mentioned several times that he thought Jones wasn't very good. Bringing in a late season replacement would seem to somewhat support that. I don't have much of an opinion on him either way.

Teitz, Sankey, & Moncreif is a pretty good lb group.

2022 Off Season - Back 2 Back Champs Edition
Agreed. Our "team culture" can't be that strong to begin with if one guy leaving as a fa blows it to ****. And lol at Hamilton for suggesting we trade BO, a local guy who just re-signed today.

BC and SK are the only two places that make any sense. It's pretty gross, though.

Why? They'll both be 33 this season, and Ellingson has been significantly more productive.

The QBs he had throwing him the ball were less than ideal. In spite of that, he still had a decent season.

I appreciate what Adams has done, but I agree with the team moving on. Over the last two seasons, he played 24 games and had <1k yards.

I'm actually less surprised by this than I was about him re-signing.- 2021/22 - CFL Offseason - Non-Back-to-Back Grey Cup Champion Thread
Lol, yes. For some reason I combined his first and last name.- 2021/22 - CFL Offseason - Non-Back-to-Back Grey Cup Champion Thread
Sounds like Darvin Adams is coming back. Knuckles just tweeted it. Edit: not in so many words I guess, but alluded to it. I also read Alby re-signed, but I don't remember hearing about that.- 2021/22 - CFL Offseason - Non-Back-to-Back Grey Cup Champion Thread
Erlington's still out there. I'd rather keep our own, but he's a solid backup plan. Maleek Irons, too.- 2021/22 - CFL Offseason - Non-Back-to-Back Grey Cup Champion Thread
RJ Harris could be very good in a real offense with a pro calibre QB.- 2021/22 - CFL Offseason - Non-Back-to-Back Grey Cup Champion Thread
Lol, I loved watching him get smacked around in 2019.- 2022 Off Season - Back 2 Back Champs Edition
I hope not, but I'm sure Rider fans never thought Dressler would sign here, either.- 2021/22 - CFL Offseason - Non-Back-to-Back Grey Cup Champion Thread
The most interesting fa receiver, imo, is Banks. Does he have anything left in the tank? Not sure I want it to be us who finds out, but I think it's interesting.- 2021/22 - CFL Offseason - Non-Back-to-Back Grey Cup Champion Thread
Meh, he was still good last season, and I'd bet he's got at least one more good season left in him.- 2021/22 - CFL Offseason - Non-Back-to-Back Grey Cup Champion Thread
I think Rhymes signed for cheap last year. $85k or so, iirc. I remember being surprised when it was announced. Ellingson, Walker, & Harris would all be >1k receivers in Winnipeg, imo.- 2022 Off Season - Back 2 Back Champs Edition
Not sure about BCs strategy. They really need Rourke to be good, or this spending spree will be meaningless. It seems crazy to me that Burnham will be their 3rd highest paid receiver.- Manitoba Selects
Kito Poblah got mentioned in a thread, and it reminded me about this. He runs a winter travel team for jv and varsity age players. Don Burrell, another former Bomber, is the varsity team's head coach. Just wondering if anybody has had a kid in this program, and if so what are your thoughts on it?- 2022 Off Season - Back 2 Back Champs Edition
Arland Bruce IV is playing right now for Iowa. That makes me feel old.- These are the good times people …
My low point as a Bomber fan came on the evening of September 27, 2013. As I sat alone in my section, watching some guy named Jason Boltus try to be a football player, I wondered if I was still able to do it. Could I still support what this once proud franchise had become? At that moment I never thought I'd live to see us win another Cup. When we won last year, I didn't even know how to react. I celebrated way more this year. Last year was more like stunned silence. The nightmare was finally over.- Champs vs Argos
The rookie laden Bomber secondary will be in tough against a great qb like MBT. - 2022 Off Season - Back 2 Back Champs Edition
