Any line with Crosby isn't a 4th line. Last game he was skating with Zach Aston-Reese & Bryan Rust and he still had three points. He makes players around him better. Laine certainly isn't at that level yet.

Wheeler and Scheif are both better than Laine right now. I'm not sure how anybody could disagree with that.

I'm guessing Fenner isn't a Bomber if Westerman had re-signed.

I don't think Waud leaves the East. I remember from his draft that he didn't want to play too far from home.

As an accountant, I calculated that $50k more than $200k is $250k for Westerman this season. Edit: forgot to add, sweet sassy molassy is that a lot of cash for him.

His effort level was really exposed when they had him with Schief and Wheeler on Friday. He's great on the pp, but he needs to improve in every other aspect. He's 19 and scores a **** tonne of goals, so I can't complain about him too much though...
