the wrong time to trend down it at the end of the season, not midway through. Bombers came out relatively strong, slumping at the moment, but plenty of time to get it sorted out before the important games happen. honestly this is probably the optimal time to slump if you have to have a slump. fix what's not working and be strong going into the playoffs.

The day that man retires will be a blow to the entire cfl.
  3. They have given up more lately when the game plan has tried to go deep much more often than normal.
  4. You hate one man more than you like the team. Think about that for a moment.
  5. Pessimists always think they're realists, they aren't though, just biased in a different way

Don't mistake patience with unwillingness to change.

agreed, he only got them cause no one wanted to come here. I don't like Lapo and Hall cause they were training wheels coordinators. Couple former head coaches to try and help a still inexperienced head coach in O'Shea. Let's take those training wheels off and let him hire some people he really feels strongly about.

Because he's the best coach we've had since Dave Ritchie. Give him more time with new coordinators before we fire a guy like that.
  9. a trick for the rider offense would be not sucking.

Real conservatives should be Democrats anyway, what the usa needs is an honest to god left of centre party.

Why is the draft not as strong as it once was? We got depth on the OL, depth at receiver, enough Canadians scattered on the D, good special teams guys and he's sitting on 2 first round draft picks this year... Durant was a douchebag, not Walters fault, Bond hasn't been missed and neither has bowman or Heath. So what's the issue? I'd say it's premature because we're talking about this **** when we are sitting at .500 on the season after back to back double digit win seasons. Like seriously people this is insanity. Do we not remember how shitty it was going from Ritchie to Daley? Or Berry to Kelly? Hell even Lapo to Burke was a **** show. Don't **** with things now, it is the complete wrong time to do it.
  12. You know I really get angry at these whackos who don't understand how economies work. There isn't some money fairy that gives governments money to fund their little pet social projects, and opposing a pipeline isn't just about keeping the oil and gas sector in this country at a disadvantage it says to anyone looking to invest in Canada for anything to not bother cause the courts might just stop everything anyway. Time to stop acting like a bunch of petulant children and starting working together as a country for a change.

No but the way you do have long term success is a steady stream of quality Canadian players and a quarterback. Now we know we've done well with the drafting and Canadians, so we will see how Streveler develops and if they can bring in any more qbs. But looking at things now it looks like they've done a good job laying the foundation for long term success. Now it's easy to **** all that up by prematurely firing people because of impatience, but that would never happen in Winnipeg right? Right?

living life as independents, probably not voting for lack of options. The States really needs to get over their line of thinking that there are only 2 parties. Badly need at least a 3rd option, would keep the fringe on the fringe rather than in power.
  15. Oh I know they can generate pressure, I'm saying that they get beat a lot when they try and blitz because it's predictable. It can be both you know.

yeah and I wish Walters was anywhere close to as good with the american scouting, but he's provided stability, especially with his drafting and it has set the team up for long term success because of it.

We had 2 back to back seasons with double digit win totals, on pace to be in that range this year.... what's the problem other than a few losses and no grey cup? This team has stability. Walter's and oshea have done well considering where they started. Let's let them finish it.
  19. Every qb throws those during the season.

Except they haven't struggled the last few seasons.... over .500 and winning as much as anyone not named calgary... unless this is a case of "if you're not first, you're last" Cause to me those rookies turned the franchise around and put it on pretty stable ground, to the point where .500 is unacceptable.

If Adams is supposed to be the top receiver on the team the he damned well should be in the slot.
  22. Can think of one example where Bighill got into the backfield in a hell of a hurry but Mitchell didn't go down, rolled out of the pocket and fired a pass downfield for a big gain. I think though that part of the problem with the D is that the blitzing we do is pretty predictable and teams know where to go to beat it when they see it.

What's the deal with Corney? He still hurt?

The fact that he is basically hinting that Google should be censored is terrifying stuff. Free internet is very, very important.
  25. The BC NDP are awful. Intentionally trying to torpedo the housing market us just all kinds of du.b, opposing pipelines is just all kinds of dumb, they are the worst kinds. They are ideologues.
