Riders gave Edwards-Cooper 20k in free agency to never play with them and go back to BC when he's healthy. He's also had 1 good game in the last 6 and sucks in pass pro.

I don't see why Gauthier can't essentially fill in for Bighill when we want two more old-school type LB's out there with Jones stepping up to every down. Kind of like in 2019 when half our secondary lost their jobs when Taylor, Mike Jones and Maston stepped up mid-season. I think more and more we're seeing guys suited for the roles in this particular scheme get into the lineup and on the field. And the results pour in. They need to figure out how to get a pass rush from the DL. Adams back on should be a no brainer. Personally I like Garbutt over Haba, keep Haba around if you really want but start bringing guys in who are that 5'11-6'1 230-250 body type to press the edge and maybe win some reps, hassle QB's.

The most rushing yards Buck had in a season was around 300 as a full time starting QB. Streveler as a part time player in two seasons before he left for the NFL had 1200 yards. Not really a similar style at all.

Hamilton lost a receiver and their starting QB vs Edmonton to two illegal hits by the same Edmonton LB within 3 series in the 1st quarter and neither were even penalized.

Streveler is very banged up. He’s not really a run threat right now. And his entire ability to pass in this league relies on his mobility and the RPO stuff which is basically a triple option for the D to defend. I think at his best he can run a 400 yard offense but it’s gonna be 200 yards passing and 200 rushing with him picking up a big chunk of that. Can he do that for 18 games…doubt it. He hasn’t made it through many games without getting injured.
