  1. Also Prukop forward progress was stopped pretty early on that play. They let him advance it at the end of the play. If they give spots like that guys like Tony Jones are just going to frog splash the QB on that pile.
  2. First thing Lucky does is stop his feet and wait. Killer return.
  3. Stamps basically skunked in that first half aside from their short-yardage QB breaking a 70 yard TD run.
  4. They run sets with 7 OL relatively often. If we lose a receiver they'll be playing 6 many more downs.
  5. That's a thin offense. 1-2 injuries to skill guys away from being in a world of hurt. Really paying the price for that Wolitarsky injury with no one really capable to elevate in there.
  6. Wilson has been awful since he got back from achilles injury. I'm sure they'll find a way to get him on the roster but if it's for Jones, Ayers or Griffin it's a bad bad move.
  7. Don't see this as an issue at all in Canadian football.
  8. Hopefully Hart is a speedster who can run routes to get himself some space. Again, his body type not exactly the type that suits the Collaros style pass game. We're somewhat overloaded with slight, short receivers on the import side. Could use more of the 6'3 210-220 type.
  9. Nah. They know Wilson isn't viable this season. That's why 2 29 year olds with significant pro game experience are here.
  10. I think Dolegala will be QB2....like the guy they'd have most ready to play if they needed him to replace Collaros. The other two will make it on active roster depending who they like better for the run package.
  11. I really don't see a scenario where he and WIllie could be on the field at the same time. We'd get gashed badly by any QB who had a moderate football IQ. We need a guy who gets off the line and disrupts the pocket. Not more guys who play basketball defense on a football field.
  12. Either way keep your hands on the table.
  13. Montreal should have played for the win. Tie does nothing to help them toward clinching 1st in East, same as a loss. Ottawa has to win 3 more games then them to get first. 4 if they (Montreal) wins in Calgary.
  14. Basically had no ability to execute in intermediate passing game which is the lifeblood of a pro offense.
  15. And the time before that when we lost to Toronto it was Arbuckle carving us up.
  16. Edmonton spent over a million dollars on free agent receivers and OL heading into 2022 and 2023 each year. Sask's 1-2 receivers were Bane and Emilus for Dolegala and their OL continued to be bad. Dolegala is demonstrably a better passer.
  17. Cornelius has never played a stretch of games anywhere close to as well as Dolegala did last year with Sask in 9 starts over his parts of 3 seasons as Edmonton's starter. And he had a way better surrounding cast.
  18. Mahomes was **** on for being a spread guy and playing at a middling Big 12 program that he didn't really elevate that much. He kind of broke that mold.
  19. In the amount of time you have before the line is on you if you can't accept it and make a play....really hard to learn. Like in a football season we spend hours and hours and hours on QB centre exchange in tons of drills that don't have a live D. At any type of competitive level you couldn't just be like "damn this guy is athletic, let's play him at QB on Friday" if the guy has zero experience with it.
  20. I mean...if they are heading to Winnipeg they are signing here. He's not a running back and never has been. He's more of a receiver/tight end type.
  21. Dolegala would be my top choice. Then Cornelius. If price is decent on Shiltz I'd make a run at him too. Bring in 2 guys. Shiltz can run the heavy set. Have another guy who can pass.
  22. Our Canadians as a group on the OL are probably the worst in the entire league right now. It would be between us and Sask. We have 3 TD's of 24 not scored by the O. 1 by the D, 2 on special teams fumble recoveries. That's 88% on O, 12% any other way. So not quite what you're spewing here. We did have teams that had historic takeaway records from 2016-2022. This team is nowhere near that. D is not taking the ball away.
  23. The leading running back in the whole league for TD's has 5. On pace for like 8 over a full 18 game season. Streveler leads league in rushing TD's with 10. They don't get TD's because if the ball is from basically the 3 yard line in teams are putting short-yardage QB's in.
  24. There's actually 3 stairwells on both sides in the 200s that basically no one uses. We go out that way and are usually the only people in them. Also can use them to navigate to concessions and back to seats if you're in the top half of the 200s.
