But there’s so much comfort in conspiracy theories. It’s interesting how all the Covid 19 conspiracies have a common denominator - they all originate in the U.S., revolve around U.S. medical professionals, and tend to side with Trump.

In our case here, it’s a few idiots that ruin it for everyone. I’ve already got two recycling bags full of beer cans just from this spring - that’s 288 cans. In an urban more controlled setting though, maybe it would work.

No thanks. We look after an abandoned gravel pit. Cans, bottles and broken glass are a constant problem. Drinking in a public park is the last thing I would want see.

That must have been we had tracks on combines & grain carts running out to the trucks.

Our worst year was 2005 - complete drown out - absolutely zero crop. We got 3 inches of rain 20 minutes, when most of the crop was just coming up - that was it for that year.

Last summer was dry but we did have a good crop - the rains we did get were timely. Of harvest I cannot say as much - soybeans were harvested in the snow, some wheat sprouted because we didn't get it off before the heavy Sept. rains.

Literally and figuratively.

This is certainly not one of those years - we'll be happy to finish by the end of May.

If they have that kind of money, it will just get lost in the shuffle when they deposit the cheque, won't make a bloody bit of difference to their finances.

One really has to wonder about all this money being sent out. For those in dire straits, $500 is not enough. For those that don't need it, it's just extra pocket change. It would be really nice if they could do better than a 'one size fits all' approach.
