  1. I'm not sure what's funnier - the fact the Elks managed to lose that game, or the fact that, by virtue of point differential, the RedBlacks currently sit atop the standings in the East. That win was ugly as sin.
  2. Bring him back as a RB and have him block for Harris lol.
  3. Also David Watford is currently a free agent 🤣
  4. Uhhh... pull James Franklin out of retirement I guess if you want more terribad QBs. I guess Jonathon Jennings, but they already tried and failed with that experiment.
  5. Johnny Manziel lol.
  6. Instead of the new name being the Edmonton Elks, they should've changed it to the Edmonton Field Goals. It wouldn't even be that hard to change the second "E" to an "F"!
  7. The real question is... how much long term damage did they just do to Mike Reilly? I am by no means a Lions' fan, but I'd rather beat them fair and square than have him sit the rest of the season due to poor personnel management. Guy was clearly in pain and not fit to play, but made a gutsy effort.
  8. So like, for pulling Mike Reilly, is it like beer at the stadium? No more freezing after the end of the 3rd quarter?
  9. Man, win or lose, Mike Reilly is an absolute beast.
  10. So you're saying there's a chance...
  11. Lol, I like how TSN's boxscore ticker automatically places Saskatchewan as 5th in the West. It's like they know.
  12. Pfft who needs stats when I can perpetually stare at their instagram hashtag?
  13. My wife and I just laughed at the fact that besides 600+ days between the last game there and the one last night, somehow, some way, University Crescent was still under construction.
  14. HH to that guy that brought the "Riders Suck" sign to the game lol.
  15. Man I wish I could just list myself as "probable" every day before work.
  16. I too prefer our opponents being fat and happy. Sets them up well for another serving of humble pie.
  17. Is that what Dane Evans was doing when he curled into the fetal position with Jefferson towering over him? I mean, same overall effect in terms of field position, I guess...
  18. "I will take this head coaching position on condition that my QB is so bad that he shoulders 150% of the blame. Pretty sure he indirectly caused that nasty divorce for our Offensive Coordinator too" - LaPo, probably.
  19. I mean... a head coach really is just a game manager with a challenge flag in their shorts pocket.
  20. C'mon man they already have a bunch of injuries why bring math into it. Show some mercy.
  21. Yeah...pretty sure the plays you are thinking of is his fumble in the Western Semi-Final against Calgary for the no-yards play. There was also his first game ever against Calgary (I think that was 2018 though) where he had 2 TDs, but also had a fumble towards the end of the first half. TLDR; They both have fumbling issues, but I'd say Grant was more integral to our STs last year.
  22. I would go with Grant for the sheer reason that he seemed to have better ball security. I can't easily find lost fumbles stats for either player, but it seemed to me that Nelson just coughed it up at really inopportune times. Only one I can think of off the top of my head was last year in Game 3 (Week 4) when he had a fumble against the RedBlacks. Was a huge turning point in that game and was overshadowed by Medlock's onside recovery.
  23. I know he's way more important than that, but Gauthier will always in my mind be known as "that one STs guy that made that huge game-saving tackle on SSK's trick play in the 2019 Western Final"
  24. Yep, that and that sweet sweet tax-free status on sale proceeds due to the principal residence exemption.
