  1. I've always viewed the Bryant signing as the inflection point when our offensive line really started to actually become a force. Others have come and gone, but he's been a staple throughout the rebuilding process.
  2. Yeah, I have always found it odd how you can end up with a rather exciting endings in the NFL sometimes, or just QB kneels, especially if the opposition has no timeouts. I also prefer the CFL, I guess a better question is... what would you do to fix it? Here are a couple of thoughts 1. Allow the clock to run in the last 2 minutes, but have it cap out at 20 seconds before the ball is snapped? (This works around the 40-second play clock in the NFL) 2. Shorten the play clock as is done in the CFL to speed up pace and number of plays? 3. Not have the clock run in the final two minutes? ... thoughts?
  3. Having Canadian players play in the CFL is part of what makes the league just that - Canadian. Whilst it definitely increases the rift in talent between the CFL and NFL overall, removing the ratio I think would be detrimental overall to the game, it'd basically just turn the CFL into NCAA North Division... I have no problem with our league paying Canadian players to play a Canadian game. That said though, I will agree that just as there are smug NFL fans that dismiss the CFL, there are similarly smug CFL fans that dismiss the NFL as boring. I don't think either is right personally.
  4. Fun Fact: The first ever touchdown in the first ever Super Bowl was scored by Max McGee when he was ridiculously hungover after a night of gambling and gallivanting, he had himself a day. He wasn't even a starter but had to play because the starter got injured.

Using the same analogy, proper conduct would be researching the best places in the city to buy a car, then concluding the best car dealership to purchase a car from. Tunnel vision would be concluding the best place to buy a car is the local bike shop, due to their local proximity, the fact they sell things on wheels and that they're convenient and at the end of the block. Besides, I just have a "gut feeling" that is the best place to find a car.
  7. I'm just sayin' money talks, end of the 2018 season all the Rider faithful thought Jefferson was loyal, too...
  8. Just adding fuel to the fire, but isn't Jeremiah Masoli currently a free agent?...
  9. Merry Christmas you filthy animals!
  10. Neat site that (sort of) fixes this problem: https://www.movieofthenight.com/ Lets you sort Netflix/Amazon Prime etc. videos by genre instead of using Netflix's terrible interface. Also allows to filter for movies on Netflix Canada, which tends to be terrible for distribution rights. Gems that are good comedies I have found through it are: Clue (available on Amazon Prime) Manhattan Murder Mystery Both hilarious who-dunnit mystery/comedies that help with the COVID blues and are good for a laugh.
  11. I agree with the list. By "agree" I mean I agree with the prospect of giving the Bombers locker room more fuel for the fire. Plays right into their underrated, blue collar style of play and punching the Ti-Cats/Stamps/Riders or whoever else they face when it matters most. I think a more important question is... does Speedy B display that Most Outstanding Player trophy anywhere? Maybe right next to the photoshopped picture of him hoisting the Grey Cup?
  12. Obviously the parade route was due to LaPo's stale offensive gameplan. They didn't even block off the right streets! Downtown was a sieve for fans to run rampant and sack Portage & Main at will, often in jubilant, vagabond mannerisms.
  13. Oh my dog I am so glad we are arguing about football again. It's a Christmas miracle!
  14. Do not use the lord's name in vain!
  15. I think the bigger discrepancy is not just in 2019, where the Bombers obviously did better... but also just look at the last five seasons... The Bombers posted a winning season every season from 2015-2019 except 2015, which I would argue they were still in the rebuilding phase. For the Als, 2019 was their first above 0.500 season since 2012 (though they did have a 9-9 season in 2014).
  16. What pipe dream world do you live in where they have teeth?
  17. I think a much better question would be how well (or poor) will Nichols do in Toronto...
  18. Yeah, they should post every 'Rider loss (both playoff and regular season) too. I mean, I know that's a ton of work... just the sheer volume of footage... but, I think I can speak for every other fan base in saying the effort would be worth it.

Trend analysis of vaccinations by citizen, also that way you could keep track of which individuals do (or do not) have the vaccine. I mean, if you really want to get big brother you could then use that information to restrict access to areas (I'm not condoning this, just giving it as an example).

For when COVID mutates and isn't suppressed by the current vaccine. It wouldn't be a bad idea to have a system in place that tracks which citizens are (or are not) vaccinated. Better late than never.

Dude it's COVID of course I'm going to argue with you I am bored as **** lol. 🤣.

People crazy enough to not get the vaccine once widely available would also be crazy enough to forge legal documents like, say... a COVID passport?

We are already in big trouble.

Except that he absolutely did make cuts and restricted government funding to key health providers. WRHA's governmental funding (per their audited financial statements) dropped by about 30% year-over-year when you compare the March 31, 2020 statement of operations to the March 31, 2019 statements. Source: https://www.gov.mb.ca/government/finances/financialstatements.html (Just search "Health" and you can obtain the WRHA financial statements) You cannot tell me a 30% reduction is normal year-over-year fluctuations.
  25. Well, yeah... I mean, Flutie is 58 now, he has slowed down a bit lol.
