They do want hang time, they don’t thing highly of deep punts. Accuracy and control are foremost. Then hang time. Depth/leg power is pretty much last.

Qft. likely has to be able to out angle sheahan and have the depth control to optimize for shorter punts. From the bit I’ve seen it’d be an easy decision based on the frequent shanks we saw last year. At the same time, with the incredible talent in Evans leg combined with having just turned 24 and just strived up here, he should at worst be guaranteed a pr spot for a while.

Myron Mitchell was a guy they liked out of camp last year too. Maybe he took a step, if he’s our best wr right now we are pooched. What’s more concerning to me is we are not cycling guys out and air lifting new ones in. Its a hard year for WRs in camp, with the system change and need to prep two starting QBs for week 2 and 3. From what I’ve seen none of the QBs are where I would’ve hoped and expected. It’s a hard camp for them too. New system, no Jackson in yet, bunch of changes on the ol/rec core. Week 1, lots of rust to shake off and new guys to gel with. If we are gonna start off better than last year, we need a better performance this coming week and a to see a little some thing out of the offence in pre season game 1.

Yeah, he brings a ton to camp. Ideal 3tech type guy up here, if he can turn into a decent pass rusher from the 3. His weak punch knock will be offset by playing against Canadian guards. Hes also a guy that could likely play 4i in the 30 front. Hes got similar physical size and tool set to Casey Sayles. Isn’t as polished as a pass rusher but much better in run d.

I love shmekels motor and willingness to contribute. Nice utility too. But man, he doesn’t turn that into any thing in play on dl. I’d convert him to a ol. Hes a last Canadian on the roster guy, and kornelson looks like a tc body to me.

100%. Two killers. Elsbury is very similar to Devin adams last year. Insane size and athleticism combo. Raw, but might be worth polishing. A centre with that kind of athleticism would be crazy. Keim and Webb could steal a spot this year. Massive stir up for early camp. I feel like this is a two fold move, 1, Lofton has been banged up and we don’t want a default of Randolph at rt, and 2 the ol as a whole and the fresh imp batch has under performed expectations. From what I’ve seen, the dl has had a big advantage in play so far. Honestly I expected the ol to have the advantage.
