He isn’t a guard, and is a guy in the long list of guys who doesn’t work well next to kola. Hes still our best C by a good margin. Hes under contract for 2 years still and he’s 28. If he stays healthy he replaces kola at some point.

We’ve done it out of a 30 with wj in the nose trying to shoot an A gap, and in a 40. In the 40 we ran it some times with 3 ends and stove on the nose, which was basically a pass rusher any way with his thump in side. Often when Hansen and or Kongbo drew in down the stretch in 19 it was cheetah. As Hansen and kongbo were both big and strong enough to play inside.

They didn’t run it worth a damn though. Hitting Harris is always a clear route to victory though. With the banged up imp dts, and a Canadian S, I think we could see the return of a cheetah front package.

Vernon Adam’s last game in a lions uniform. The lack of urgency and poise from the coaching staffs down in clutch time is shocking not just today all year. The league has been trying to replace old guard coaches and still doesn’t have it figured out.

Godber is better, and Ferland as pressed into duty is better. Worse ol, but kola wouldn’t make their roster. This is a good question. Justin Lawrence in Montreal, Sean mcewen in Calgary, and couture in bc are the class of the league. When healthy, couture is the guy I’d pick on game day. Lawrence is the guy I’d take to go into a season with. I’m a bit biased towards couture. He’s soo good at making guys around him better. Lawrence heads up vs a pass rusher is better.

Qb runs either need to be home run swings or end at the side line. Not power inside stuff. Especially when the guy has a battering ram mentality. It’s fine vs dbs on angles not head on in the tackle box vs front 6 guys. Other teams have done it well in the nfl and ncaa. No excuse why we can’t. (the ravens have long been the standard I hope to see out of that package in this respect.) Yes it’s a 1 year deal. I’d be stunned if he went elsewhere tbh. If buck stays, he shouldn’t though.
