I believe he is still working on a masters degree in engineering at the U of M and has a research tech gig at the U too. probably doesn't want to leave that unless its deep into his chosen field of engineering. I think wallace should be ready for 7th man ol duties and 6th if some one gets hurt. I suspect they are pretty high on Kalra too. Imo, Kola should be the 6th ol, but we are far from bad shape for NI depth. Plus, Gray could well come back if needed. I don't think another teams TC cut NI ol would be much better, and certainly not more familiar. Agree with all of this.

I'm not too concerned about our NI depth, TC and pre season will show us a lot of what we can expect and how things will shake down. A good NA piece on offence would be clutch. Kramdi is a surprise, I don't think any one else would've given him that money. Lawson I'm fine with he should be our starter and play the most reps of any of our DTs. Roster management lol. We really better not be going in that direction. Thomas does not have much left in the tank, and I can't imagine his body is up to major reps.

Mos said in an interview with bauming that he was hurt and wasn't able to rehab on time. And that they give him a day then he is off to rehab. Might spend some time with the teams trainers. He was high on bennett, but also didn't seem sold on guys coming back any time soon.

I wouldn't look too much into the guys who "started" first day of TC. Between injuries and departures it's all about continuity. So they plug in the guys with the most experience while rookies learn. Up to the first pre season game we will see lots of guys cycled through and guys will get a chance to pick it up and play more.

Brady and demski don’t need camp at this point. If it does look like he will miss a couple weeks we probably bring in 2 more rbs. Both brown and smith are kr type bodies. If Ike gets up here sooner rather than later that’d be great.

For sure, the exact perfect move for the draft. Historically, Walter’s and the Mafia have done real well with value in the 2nd round. This might end up being our best 2nd round class.

I think manu will be down south all this year and next nfl tc. But I mean one injury even fairly minor could end all that quickly. Ike has the size and athleticism to kick around down south if he shines but I think he will be back for the last pre season game. Keven’s I think will shine in a limited role. It’s hard to imagine him not being successful as a role player here this year if he’s healthy. Wallace I think will make a big push to be the 6th ol. Which will really put pressure on kola from Eli. Samson is real interesting, likely sits on the pr unless Jake gets hurt. But he could be a real good one. Think he’s got a good future behind Lawson. Laroux is almost a shoe in to be a good LS in the future. Gotta love that value and consistency at ls. I don’t see much more than a lotto tickets chance for the rest of the guys other than gassama. He might not hold up long, but I think he can play in the cfl. He’s tough and shifty. Low key plan B for kr could be ford and gassama. If that all pans out it’s really strong value and all right where we need it. It’s sure looking like another mafia bumper crop draft.

Yep it’s a race for those vets to beat out guys who aren’t getting nfl camp invites and then nfl cuts. Those guys should be on team friendly deals now. 100%. JJ was great at getting pressure with out giving up his run gap. If any thing a heavier tweener end who is a beast vs the run, maybe screen and in qb contain while being decent at bull rushing on pure pass plays would do well for us. Waggoner I think has a real inside track to start for us in that role while one or more of habba rivers etc rotate. Willy Lawson and fox together could make up the loss of a pressure off the edge as well. I wouldn’t be surprised to see more of the lighter dts who can play outside (like sayles) brought in mid camp as well.

I think he’s in the same spot as grant and Jj. He probably wants top dollar and not to be on a crap team but the good teams that could use him won’t start him or pay him big bucks. Shame indeed. I’d love him back.

I expect a lot out of Vanterpool and Coleman. I would not be surprised if one is the starter to replace Hardrick. Keith is a good talent too, and while I’m not a fan of Lofton atleast he does bring experience and is very far from a default pick at rt. I wonder if we add another K now as well

Tbh I never saw the motor from him that you need to succeed at end, especially here. Guys who lack that don’t improve skills or put in the work to change their physique. The first time you do it is pretty easy and the benefits are great, idk if he’d done it in the past but it didn’t seem like it. bad player from bad draft cut in 2nd camp we’ve been here before. I’m excited to see our current guys and new picks.

At end you’re on average giving up 70lbs. Not getting mangled is skill, it’s hand use, ability to maintain separation, moves to get an angle etc.

Bennet was a low upside guy as well. He was like 26? When we drafted him. He had some bend and quickness that they hoped would translate to being an early rotational candidate and teams player. Only he wasn’t nearly good enough. This is a great cut. And a great sign for the team this year. Schmekel they probably want to have more inside bodies. Iirc mos talked in a video earlier this year about what they like about him. Big body Canadians are worth keeping around if you think you can develop them. Seems fine for a tc body but barring injury or mass improvement I would expect him to be cut at some point.

First point on training camp bingo every year. That said it’s sad that in the early 2ks and prior we got great tc reports from a couple sources each day, and now we get the odd one that is a fraction as good.

They will probably lay silent for a good while then resort to that once the news isn’t soo fresh. my question now is, what else might the argos be hiding? It would be exceedingly rare for this to have been a one off especially with how much investigation has been required to get to this point. 100% effing percent. Obstruction of a league investigation has to be treated with great severity.

Yeeep. Bryant is the body type to aim for in terms of athletic ol longevity. The fact yoshi has been listing about the same weight and one inch shorter is hilarious. Bryant could well be under his listed weight but yoshi looks an easy 40lbs heavier side by side in game. A lot has been made (rightfully so) about milts commitment to his body and high level of physical preparation. Stanley Bryant has done the same at a much harder size and position.
