3 pointsBlaise Bryant. Hell of a back. Wrecked his knee in the second to last game 94. Underrated reason for the playoff flameout that year vs Baltimore. He was a great receiving back that year too, like 120 yards from scrimmage per game type back. Played a couple more years but was busted up...and best QB those couple years was Reggie Slack. They started about 8 different guys. The end of Cal Murphy's run. In 94 they went to Keith Woodside who was a washed up NFLer to replace Bryant for playoffs. I'm pretty sure Dunigan hated him, no chemistry anyway. Totally ****** up that offense which was one of best in CFL history for the playoffs.3 points- 2023/2024 CFL (Non Bombers) Off Season News

3 pointsI think there's a second tier of all-time running backs for people like Washington, Mimbs and especially Fred Reid. Will always be a Fast Freddy fan, he and Terrance Edwards were two guys worth watching on the terrible Bombers of 2009-2010 and his big game against the Lions is one of my top ten favorite bomber games. I think if Chris Garrett hadn't have torn his Achilles, he would've been a great CFL running back. That dude looked complete to me -- power, speed, and moves.3 points- 2023/2024 Blue Bombers Off-Season Thread (BRADY’S BACK! DALTON’S BACK!)

3 points5.1 40 for a 320 plus pound guard is actually good. It’s about 90th percentile in the nfl. The average nfl guard runs almost a 5.4 while weighing 314. 7 guards were faster this year at the nfl combine and not insanely. In the range of a tenth of a second. I find it interesting that we are looking at an imp who likely only projects as a guard.3 points- 2023/2024 Blue Bombers Off-Season Thread (BRADY’S BACK! DALTON’S BACK!)
Keith Khalil SCOUTING REPORT: STRENGTHS Outstanding on reach blocks, showing good initial quickness and flexibility to seal the backside. He’s a heady player who is quick to recognize and react to twists and stunts up front, and Keith shows a good sense of timing on combo blocks. Dips shoulder and moves his feet to get outside leverage when needed. Strong and low coming out of his stance, effective in short-yardage situations. Fires off the snap quickly, and he shows the flexibility to get out and seal on reach blocks. He’s at his best, however, in the phone booth. In the run game, he plays with a mean streak and does a nice job generating a push at the initial point of attack. Keith can get outside and does a decent job landing blocks in space. Coordinated when moving to the second level as a run blocker, capable of landing blocks on the move. Fires out of his stance with a good pad level, consistently winning at the point of attack. SCOUTING REPORT: WEAKNESSES Tends to slip off blocks when going against bigger linemen, and Keith too often finishes plays on the ground. Drops his head too often on contact, which causes problems against swim moves. He's athletic and a pure left tackle whose high-hipped frame and waist bending might be exposed against pro rushers3 points- Jets "Magic Number"

1 pointWe have not clinched yet. Based on our current points total and the projected points that St. Louis will collect by season’s end (estimated by using their current winning percentage over a full season) we have likely accrued enough points already to get in, but it is not official yet. So far, only the NY Rangers have officially clinched a playoff spot.1 point- Manitoba Moose

1 pointKeith is described as big (6'4") and 321lb, but slow and struggled in run blocking at left guard. Lua was not scheduled to graduate until 2025- 6'0" and 190. A probable project.1 point- 2023/2024 Blue Bombers Off-Season Thread (BRADY’S BACK! DALTON’S BACK!)

I'm not sure why you're splitting hairs about when he was in the Pro Bowl.... is it less of an achievement after his time with us? I could do with a 2022 Regular Season with the '19 finish.....1 point- 2023/2024 CFL (Non Bombers) Off Season News

1 pointI was too young but 88 and 89 seems like such a strange year. I’ve seen most of the regular season games and the 2 playoff games/GC. I don’t recall such a consistently underwhelming team making a run like that until maybe this past years Alouettes. Like some of the 88 games, the Bombers were SO bad. The games against Sask in particular looked like 2013. The next year, they almost did it again, while looking even worse in their losses. Then you watch the EF/ESF from both those years and it’s like someone took their controller back from their kid. (Totally off topic) 1989 was also the only year until ‘22 that the Bombers wore white at home. The whole league did, for about half the regular season games. Very odd visual here.1 point- Game 73 : Things Are Tough All Over
