June 25, 20169 yr comment_203423 I was considering going, after that depressing mess last night I think I'll be watching from my couch.
June 25, 20169 yr comment_203445 I doubt that we'll be going . my parents are in town and I don't see us even competing against the stamps.
June 26, 20169 yr comment_203685 Ya we've got a crew coming. Weather's supposed to be nice...Late game so hopefully it stays relatively warm and hopefully we can have some celebratory pops after....
June 26, 20169 yr comment_203688 I may go if my buddy gives me a free ticket. I stopped spending money on the Bombers in Alberta years ago.
June 26, 20169 yr Author comment_203758 It's been a long time since we've won in Calgary, but it's also been a long time since I've actually had the opportunity to get to a game. I've planned my vacations the past four years around the Bomber schedule - may as well visit family in Manitoba and see a game, but it's nice to have the ability to see them close. Actually not that long. They busted the slump last game of the year season before last. Marvelous Marve in the snow

June 27, 20169 yr comment_203859 It was one of the greatest sporting events I've ever been at. Bombers fans along the sidelines getting high fives from all the players and they gave me a pair of game worn cutter gloves from. That day. Incredible day....

That team was truly awesome.
June 27, 20169 yr comment_204023 That game in 2001 was the start of a nearly magical season. If only the ending was better. 2001 is better than 1990.
June 27, 20169 yr comment_204025 2002, Kelly Malveaux/Milt Stegall Sharpie game LOL, the Bombers won that as well ... Edited June 27, 20169 yr by IC Khari
June 27, 20169 yr comment_204030 I don't understand why people are dismissing the 2014 game....considering the streak in AB, I'll take any win. That was as legit as anything. The defense stood on their heads and had an incredible afternoon. That was an awesome day...don't diminish it....

The Bombers lost, but caused 7 or 8 Edmonton turnovers. Every time a turnover happened, I turned and faced the crowd in my section yelling "Ohhhh, Noooooo! OHHHH, NOOOOOO!!!". The fans hated me, and yelled to sit down. That was fun.

November 1, 2014 was the last win in Calgary. It has been much longer since they won in Edmonton and on Labour Day. Just saying.
June 28, 20169 yr comment_204061 Historically, the Bombers have done very poorly, but maybe they are due. Realistically (he said while wiping a tear from his eye), Huffer will detonate on the sidelines if the Horsemen do not start vigorously, and Dickinson ought to have his charges ready, so the Bombers had better have their jockstraps on tight. If the Bombers do their Keystone Kops routine again in the first half, I'm not sure that the mushroom cloud over Cowgary won't be O'Shea. Edited June 28, 20169 yr by tracker
June 28, 20169 yr comment_204065 Historically the bombers are crap everywhere. Lots of poor records over the last span.
June 28, 20169 yr comment_204066 When have the MOS Bombers not done the Keystone Cops in the first half?
June 28, 20169 yr comment_204076 Somebody better tell Weston the games on Friday. But again with the slow starts that have been plaguing us. Maybe MOS should tell the team the games on Thursday.
June 28, 20169 yr comment_204081 Ooops! I hope he doesn't think he still plays for the Riders...they play on Thursday!!
