Please Lord, let the Bombers play a decent game to open the season and not one which looks and smells like 2015, 2014, 2013 etc etc.

Last two years our opening games have been great, and wins to boot.  2014 we crushed the Arblows. Would feel great to stomp Glenn and the Als right into the ground.  A few hard hits on Glenn early in the game should just about nullify him. Get it done DL.

And stick it to Poop and crew too.

Talking to some folks, got a somewhat different impression....

Almost feel like this is a must-win game with Hammy, Edm., and Calgary on the horizon.

I am so bummed that I will be on a plane on my way home instead of at the stadium!!

 

Winning the game is not essential but the team must, must look better than last year- particularly the O-line and Willy. No doubt the opposition will try everything to hit and rattle Willy right from the first snap, and that might include a late hit or two.

Bad timing for the bombers home opener. hopefully it doesn't effect walk up ticket sales

I really hope we have a plan to counter the blitz, unlike last year.

Just to be a contrarian? Right now there's a gap from 1/2 to 3. The Jets have gone off the board a bit with other first rounders, but I can't see how they do it picking 2nd.

I agree, but I feel like the Jets may pick Pulujarvi.  

Only a few more days until we find out.

Hopefully God's Own will get a home opener win @ BMO... not that it would get them any ink in this town on Auston Day.

 

I just hope that LaPo breathers some new life in a very stale offence.  I wasn't too impressed by pre-season, but I think they were holding back.   GO BLUE!

Looks like Johnny Adams won't be back in time for the first game.  Two rookies starting in the secondary could be cause for concern going up against Kevin Glenn.

Pretty sure Adams will go. 

Worth noting - Montreal is also starting two rookies in the secondary.

 

Fogg looked OK so far, Posey not so much. If Posey starts, they will pick on him right away and Glenn is just the quarterback to do the quick slants and curls.

I hope Glenn comes out slingin'...we should be good for a pic or two...As far as us, Lapo, Willy and company are going to drop the possum charade and we are going to test the Als. secondary bigtime...Did ya here that Mr. Ryan...heh heh..
